Best KPortal Reviews

I passed by this place a few times and wanted to stop in to give it a try. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly. We stopped in for breakfast, and overall, everything was pretty good. They have nice sized coffee mugs, so if you enjoy your morning coffee, you'll love that.
The food was good and everything arrived as ordered. I had the French toast and eggs, and it was good. The omelet was also pretty good as well. It's a little place and a nice option if you are looking to have breakfast or lunch in the downtown Buckeye area.
We’re always down to try new spots even if it’s a bit of a drive. There’s some great local spots in Buckeye and with the town growing it’s been cool to check out some spots both new and old. Sheep Camp has been here for decades from what I can gather and the look on the outside shows it. The parking lot is small and I can see it fill up quick on the weekend. The inside is not much larger and when we walk in you’re smack dab practically on top of the tables. The inside decor is pretty basic but does look like it’s been upgraded a little recently. There’s a little sign on the wall saying wait or be seated so we did just that. Multiple employees were around talking to others and such, a few looked right at us and it took a few minutes to be greeted or anything while they talked or other customers and such. You can definitely tell it’s a local spot with many of the customers being called by name. We were then told we could sit where available. There were only two tables open so we chose a back booth. A server quickly came to take our drink order and gave us some menus to look over. The menu isn’t very large, but has some good options. I liked that they had hash browns since I’m not a fan of home fries. They had some good combo plates and such but they don’t come with potatoes so I chose the two egg and bacon meal which comes with hash browns and toast, English muffin or a biscuit. We also ordered a two egg and sausage, side of biscuits and gravy as well as country fried steak that some other reviewers said was good and happens to my all my boys go to for breakfast when out. Everything came out pretty quick. The biscuit was huge and the gravy had a good amount of meat to it. The flavor was good and biscuit baked well. It was a bit heavy for me so I only had a few bites. It’s definitely not eating light ha ha. My son said his chicken fried steak was one of the best he’s ever had. He said it was easy to cut into and not chewy and over cooked like many places. Our eggs was cooked well to our liking, toast perfect and bacon crisp. My hash browns had good flavor, but I think they should’ve been cooked a bit longer. Service was ok. They really focused on the obvious frequent customers and we sat for a bit waiting on refills and to pay our check. It wasn’t the worst service but dedicated improve. They do have some lunch options as well. They close at 2pm so come earlier to ensure you get a chance to eat.
What an amazing breakfast! People were filling tables as soon as they opened, and i can see why! Great menu options at a value. I had the poncho omelet, which was on point, and the home fries were perfection. My husband had a big, fluffy hot biscuit smothered with flavorful gravy on the side of his big breakfast. This included hash browns, 2 fat sausage patties, a slice of ham and bacon. It included pancakes which tasted awesome because it came with HOT SYRUP. OMG. I LOVE HOT SYRUP! coffee was good and filled frequently. The server was attentive and commaded the busy restaurant with skill. Can NOT wait to come here again!
All I can say is..... WoW!!! I wish we would have noticed this place 3 yrs ago. We went for breakfast on Memorial Day about 7am and immediately fell in love with the coffee... We each had Biscuts & Gravy, 2 eggs over easy and a side of Sausage.. Nothing special, just breakfast.. right? NO, NO, NO... IT WAS THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!.. The biscuts were light and airy, homemade to perfection. The eggs were fresh and also cooked perfectly... The Sausage Patties were florvorful and BIG... Three to a plate.. The atmosphere was simple yet inviting. Very clean. Waitstaff was friendly and very responsive. We liked it so much we went back today for lunch.. I highly recommend the French Dip... The absolute BEST I've ever had.. Oh, I don't know what kind of Mayo they use but it was awesome!!
This is the only place I will eat a sit down breakfast, every single item and meal has been delicious, this place is the spot of you want an old fashioned home cooked American style breakfast in this area. Wish I'd seen this place sooner, it's hands down the best option! Service is also high quality, someone says hi to you as soon as you walk thru the door, and it's a fast process to order and get your meal even when it's busy.
Very much a home town cafe.  Facility on the small side with tables and booths.  Booths are not the most comfortable.  Cafe seems to be very popular. Portions are large.  Staff is cordial.  Opens everyday at 5am except for Sunday which opens at 6.  Closes at 2pm.  Breakfast all day.   Bathrooms are outside around back. Make sure you get the keyring.  You will need to search for correct key to door.   Restrooms are upto date and clean.  Just the right size for one. Air conditioning works very good in Restrooms.  4% up charge for credit card payments.  Menu photos as of January 2024.
I had the veggie omelet and it was great. It came out hot and delicious. A little unique having chopped black olives in it. Service was great and was performed with a smile. Waitress even took the time to take a picture of the group that we have there.
This was my wife's and my 1st visit here. Will not be our last! This place is great!
