The flounder and chips were some of the best I've had in a long time. The breaded flounder had a great crunch with each bite. The old bay fries could have used more old bay but that is just me. The seafood stew was also very good. The crab dip and clams were tasty apps. It was a little loud inside the restaurant but that just means they are busy!! Would return for more.
We ate out on the deck and watched the sunset. I had the Angry Clams as a Starter and the Fried Clam Strips as a main. Both were fresh and prepared excellent. I have eaten here several times over the years, and it has not disappointed me.
We sat in the outside bar. The views and drinks were awesome! We had wings, hush puppies, calamari, and she crab soup. The bartender was great and knowledgeable about the beer on tap and the menu. I must say that the wings were actually up there with some of the best! Get here early because there was a line or go at "off peak" hours.
Amazing flounder and chips. We were able to split the huge portion. The spicy Cole slaw is delicious as well. Thank you Sebastian and staff for a great meal
What a great experience! Went on a Wednesday around 1pm, had a little wait so we hung out by the bay side decks where there's a great bar to watch the boats. We had the calamari and buffalo nachos for apps, then the oyster basket, shrimp basket, beef tips bowl and carnitas tacos, all of which were wonderful. Highly recommend coming here, then take a quick stroll to the town's main street for shopping.
While visiting on the Eastern Shore, Cape Charles wanted to go and eat seafood. After comparing the prices of the restaurants, this was the one that we found to be the most affordable for seafood. We were in the mood for oysters, so oysters it is. After having mint juleps, we had a dozen oysters, salads, and then another dozen oysters, and we weren't done with seafood yet had mussels next. We were seated outside on the deck overlooking the marina and watching the sunset. The ambiance and service were outstanding, and of course, the food was great too. One thing I will say for the Eastern Shore supposed to be a to-go place for seafood the prices of the oysters were what I would say outrageous $27 a dozen OUCH, whereas the prices of the other Seafood such as clams and mussels were very affordable $16 to $18.
Love this place right on the water! The fried shrimp were the best I've ever had! Many places to hang out. Windows all around so you feel like you're outside when you're not. Just a fun, relaxing place to hang out.
A solid spot in Cape Charles that rarely disappoints. A classic American menu and a nice bar menu as well. We had their shanty burger and the fish and chips with a coconut mojito. All good. Best part is that it’s one of only two or three restaurants in Cape Charles with a good view of the water. Can’t go wrong.
