Newly remodeled by buddy Dave, and I had to check out this established pizza shop.
We both got the Detroit style pizzas. One with ham and mushrooms. The second one was a supreme.
The crust closely resembles a Sicilian style but not as crunchy on the edges. Flavor was there, and the sauce was good. Toppings were there, but could of been a little more generous. Overall, this is a good pie, but if you like only thin crust, this isn't for you. Although they have thin crust we will try that on our next visit.

Stopped in to.checknout the upstairs area and get some lunch. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and added the brussel sprouts and it was all really good. I got the double burger and it was big, the cries and Brussel sprouts were also large portions. The place is really nice and staff was awesome. I'm really impressed with everything!

Was very excited to have a buffet to dig into. The renovation to the building is nice. Waiting for warm weather so we can set outside the next trip .
I had the breaded tenderloin and asked for fries well done. My husband had the fish. My granddaughter had the cheese pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was great. All the staff were friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job. Definitely will be going back.
This was my second time eating at The Shack. Firstly I want to say the food is great. My issue was some of the workers there. We were not happily welcomed at the establishment. I ordered a burger and in the menu it says it comes with fries. I did not want any fried food and asked if I could have a different side and was told no. I frequent many restaurants and never heard of not being able to substitute a side. My husband asked for dipping sauce for his food and was charged extra for a tiny cup of sauce. Sad to say we will not be returning. The first visit was wonderful. Your staff can make or break your success of the business. Even fast food locations provide substitutes. I am very disappointed in how we were treated. Also some advice .. smiling doesn’t hurt and be welcoming.. we don’t have to spend our money there.
If you plan to come here and sit at more than just the bar get a reservation even at lunch time! The pizza is good not the best pizza ever but good! It takes a little while to prepare but overall a solid pizza! I suggest asking for extra sauce! The staff is incredible especially the bartenders! The atmosphere is a laid back comfortable place! Definitely will be coming back!
