I love The Shack, especially for breakfast. They have a great breakfast menu, and the food is always hot and delicious! Today I had the Loaded Trash which is a bowl of grits topped with bacon, sausage, cheese, and an egg cooked how you like it. I also love their fried pork chops, which are on the menu on Wednesdays. If you are looking for a nice spot with good vibes, try The Shack!
Great and very satisfying Dining experience in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with delicious tasting food served by very friendly, courteous, smiling servers and front staff in cool & safe environment with decent customers.
Great place, great food, and a family like atmosphere! We visit Cherry Grove 1-2 weeks out of the year and always look forward to this spot. Hush puppies are a fantastic way to start your meal, along with the fresh tasting entrees! It’s about an 9 hour drive from home for us, but the Shack is worth it alone! Usually eat here 3-5 times throughout the week on our stay. Definitely recommend!

I was really impressed with the food. Absolutely love the grilled fish I had with Lima beans,corn and Mac and cheese with corn bread. I was able to eat under $15.00. The place is small . There was a 30 min wait for a table. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Great place to dine if you are visiting Little River, Cherry Grove, Calabash NC or North Myrtle Beach
This is the BEST place in Cherry Grove to eat for the money, service, and especially the food ! We come here 2 times in a week on vacation . The Grilled Shrimp and Scallops are AWESOME ! They also have a “ Shack Sauce “ that’s Great ! It’s WELL WORTH THE WAIT ! O , the Hushpuppies are soooo Good !
My lunch was listed as an appetizer, the Shacks version of fried shrimp bang bang. It was soo good. Added sweet potato fries. Other meals ordered were fried seafood platter, shrimp salad, and meatloaf with mashed potatoes. All enjoyed their food.
