Best KPortal Reviews

Very unassuming place, the food is really good. I've had 3 different sandwiches and was pleased with all 3 of them. Even the breakfast burritos are great. They don't skimp on the size of anything, you get what you pay for with this place. The bread, the cheese, the meat, the veggies: everything is fresh and high quality. They season the meat, even on the tuna melt, but it's never salty.
I would recommend to my friends and family.
New management has plagued this hidden gem with "shrinkflation"
Over 20 bucks for a sandwich and chips and yet you still have the audacity to ask for me for a tip. Shame
Located next to, and attached to the "76" gas station's driveway, "THE SHACK IN THE BACK" is not really a shack. It's a uniquely styled, small, contemporary coffee shop that produces really good drinks, sandwiches and salads, for which you pay a premium price.
The eatery is split in two by refrigerated display cases. The wheelchair accessible, customer side is tight. A half dozen strangers will soon became close friends. The open kitchen side is much larger.
Many refrigerator cases, which span the customer's side wall, are stocked with the usual drinks and a few high end specialty flavors. The selection of candies and treats, on the opposite wall, would make Whole Foods blush. Outside, a few wheelchair accessible tables hug the edge of the gas station's driveway. There is no inside seating.
The wheelchair accessible restrooms, located North, across the concrete pad, are part of the "76" service station. This is an upscale neighborhood, so gasoline is priced accordingly. The limited no charge parking has a single wheelchair accessible space that is located next to the bathrooms.
I bought a hot chocolate with my dad and they were nice enough to give one for free to my dad 11/10
Bought a wonderful mixed salad. Beautiful.
But the coffee, the worst, weakest I've had in a long time. Dunkin donuts is better. Coffee used to be excellent here, what happened?!
Sandwiches were tasty and fresh, nothing spectacular, but the prices are outrageous. $69 for 4 sandwiches and a couple of bags of chips - no drinks. No great location. No view. Shares a parking lot with Chevron next to the 405. Take out only. Would not go there again. Not worth it!
This place is under new management and it shows.
The breakfast burritos are about 30% smaller and they use microwave eggs that taste like firm tofu. Although it is fast service, it’s not tasty nor worth $10.
If you want an upgraded drinks and snack selection from the gas station, this is an option. However, skip the foods.
Amazing customer service and the best soup I have ever had! The person taking our order was wonderful!
