Don’t go here. Artist wasn’t even there when I arrived for my appointment on time. I sat for 15 minutes while he set up his equipment. As he is tattooing me with his gloves, he kept touching his phone, then touching me with the same gloves. Not sanitary at all! Artist, Chris, kept insisting I continue to sit longer after 5 hours and even after I told him I was in pain and wanted to be done for the session. The shop gave me no print out of aftercare instructions, just verbally said to wash with NO SOAP! And cold water? After I sent him pictures of my wounds not healing correctly he basically said it was my fault and that I didn’t clean it properly which was false. I contacted the owner of the shop, Carmelo, who only just offered me to touch up the areas, no compensation for any inconvenience or anything. He then insulted me and was rude. Save your money and time and go to a shop who is sanitary and professional!
This place is top notch, 6/5 stars hands down. Super clean studio, all of the artists are friendly, professional, and insanely talented. I worked with Jonathan on finishing the inside half of my sleeve and he absolutely crushed it. His design skills, line work, and shading are some of the best I’ve seen. I could not be happier with the final result. Highly recommend this place!
Georgey absolutely blew me away with his original artwork he did from my reference. His line work is flawless and even though his concentration is black and grey, his color work on this tat is stunning. Luis did an amazing word tat for my son - a very intricate, technical piece that came out literally perfect. Not one mistake. I'll never go anywhere else. The whole staff is friendly and accommodating. Stephanie did a great job matching us both. Thank you! Awesome place to get inked.
Went to the Tampa area on vacation and got this beautiful piece done by Chris. It’s not finished yet, but I can’t wait to get it done! I had the greatest experience here. The shop was super clean, comfortable and honestly fantastic. Watching all the artists while I was there was incredible, they all have so much talent. If you’re in the area looking for some ink DEFINITELY check these guys out!
As I stated in my previous review, everyone and I do mean everyone at The Secret is so kind and friendly! I went back to finish up my memorial tattoo for my Dad and I could not be happier with it. I feel so honored to have such a beautiful piece of art on MY body! Chris was my artist, he truly cares about his work and his clients. He throughly inspected his work and made sure that every detail was there, every highlight was bright and every color was blended seamlessly. He followed up with me the next day and the following days since my appointment (almost a week ago) to make sure everything was healing just as it should. I truly appreciate his attention to detail and how much he cares about his clients. I can not wait to come back for more!
The Secret Tattoo Studio is an excellent place to get your tattoo(s) done. About a month ago I got my first one done and I was extremely nervous, but everyone there is super nice and friendly. That made me feel a lot more comfortable. I went to Alejandro to get my first piece done on my arm and he outdid my expectations. The details involved on both of my tattoos now make it look extremely real. The shop is very clean and set up nicely. All of the artist support each others work and get along really well. If you're looking to get a consolation or your first piece done definetely consider The Secret Tattoo Studio.
I had my consultation with Chris two weeks prior to me getting my tattoo and he was professional and very open to hearing the type of design I wanted to achieve. Day of the tattoo, Chris took the time to ensure the sizing and placement on my body were perfect and then he got to work. Chris is a machine and truly a master of his craft! He took his time, only took two small breaks for consultations and let me know how things were going in the process. Some of the areas my tattoo is located started to become sensitive and painful. He recognized this and moved on to other sections to give my body a rest. All in all, this piece took seven hours in one day. The fact that only an outline was stenciled onto my body that then turned into this masterpiece truly showcases Chris's artistic abilities. I proudly wear his art and highly suggest him and Secret Tattoo to all I know looking for absolutely amazing tattoos!
I’ve been to a handful of tattoo studios for myself and with friends, in every one of those I have never felt comfortable and relaxed. From the moment I stepped into The Secret for a consultation, I felt comfortable, relaxed and excited. Everyone in the studio was so welcoming and kind ???? My artist was Chris, he designed an absolutely stunning work of art in memory of my Dad ???? all I asked for was a sunset beach scene, 3 birds and plumeria flowers and told him he can let his artistic abilities take over the rest. Chris is tremendously talented and very kind, he followed up with me a few days after our session to see how everything was healing and I really appreciated that as it is my first larger piece I was nervous about the healing process. I can’t wait to finish up my this piece and then eventually add more ????
