Best KPortal Reviews

I cant say i have ever had a bad experience here to be honest. The food was great and the new menu looks really good. Also the outside garden refurb looks cracking. Perfect place to watch the Euro 2024 this summer
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food was fab and the staff very welcoming. Nice family atmosphere and very clean facilities. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to visiting your newly refurbished garden in the summer.
This place is amazing never seen such clean and nice smelling toilets for the gentleman. Also they got a jukebox and it’s absolutely free Lovely Deco, welcome and staff definitely recommend also they do food and I’ve got a pool table win-win
I don't normal do reviews but felt this was needed. Went for mothers day meal we was told we had taken the last table however we was stuck in the conservatory which had no heating so it was cold there were 5 other tables empty the whole time we were there. The roast dinner was very basic not really much taste and just a tad warm !!! When mentioned to the waitress it just got passed off. The desert wasn't worth eating it was a very small portion looked like the last little bit of cheesecake. Mothers day menu stated mothers main meal is free (we were 2 families) but apparently was only one per booking which was stated on fb and there website, we just booked by phone so hadn't seen that only went by the set menu that was given to us which had nothing stated it was only for one mum ! When asked if there was anything else other than that menu we were told yeah other side bits like "chips, cheesey chips, chips..." that was just chips hhmmmm. On paying there was no thank you offer of receipt or anything just walked off !!! I'm sure it's nice for some but sorry we certainly wouldn't book here again.
This was the best Sunday Roast I have had anywhere , the Roast Potatoes were to die for and what I loved was that all the Vegetables were peeled and that is something that Restraunts don't do these days and I don't like Veg with the skin left on. I would reccomend this Restaurant to anyone.
We were ladies alone but treated respectfully, and even though there were lots of men, probably from football, having a pint or two, we weren't disturbed and having to pop along to the bathroom was uneventful and acted like gentlemen which was nice
The food was alright, l suppose. The roast potatoes were really disappointing and not particularly nice nor roasted, or crunchy as rosties should be
but the vegan desert (sticky toffee pudding) was really hard and microwaved to an inch of its life and the vegan custard lumpy and tasteless
It's a shame, but l can not even remember what food we'd ordered as it was that uneventful even though it was a Sunday lunch
. It's sad as it's got a good view and its own carpalrk
Our server was really nice and patient and helpful
A nice community pub, visited for a private party in the conservatory, friendly staff, good selection of lagers and ales, sky sports and darts, good sized car park, takes card payment.
Where to begin. The lads ordered "meat feast" pizzas. They were basically pepperoni pizzas with Sundays leftover chicken crumbs sprinkled over them. After a few slices each, they gave up. A fly landed on the plate and literally buzzed straight off. We said to the barman we'd give him £20 if he could eat 3 slices. He obviously declined our offer. In fairness we did have the best laugh ever about the food that was served up. So big thanks to the microwave operator. He made our night. Best laugh in ages. Proper belly laughs
