Decent pub, looks like it's currently being done up, only one bar open, but couple of decent handpulls on
Tried one of their sundau dinners today, no booking just showed up. Dinner was served within 20 minutes of being there no complaints about service!
Beef dinner and a pork one, both very tasty but small portions of meat. Had to pay extra for cauliflower cheese and only got one little dish of veg to share ( 1 piece of broccoli each) . Yorkshire was dry but the roasties were the best I have ever tasted really nice!! Lush gravy plenty of flavour in veg aswell. No complaints except portion size 7.5/10
They have a nice beer garden and sell clwb tropicana! Used to do 2 printers and have a dj outside not sure if they still do now however. Not a good location as its a taxi to anywhere else.
This was Wildfire Pizza at Hanover Place. Pizza Napoli with anchovies was excellent????. Beer was expensive £5.95 a pint of draught. That was the only let down for me. ????????Still the pizza shone through as it should????????????????????????????
Much better since being taken over, it will be great once the back room is open again!

Busy noisy cramped. . I paid £14 for 2 tickets for the turn. Never seen him yet. I was pleased to go home and watch the darts and football on the telly . Saltgrass not my cup of tea.
Years since I had been in here. Sunday lunch was really good in fact best I've had for a long while. Only issue is service was very slow, which was a shame but staff were nice. Hopefully they address this as we waited over a hour despite booking in advance. Would I go back? Yes I would.
Nice place off the beaten track in Sunderland city centre, friendly staff, outdoor seating,I would have given 5 star's but on my visit there stock of nonalcoholic beers was limited to Guinness, otherwise a very good spot..
