It's Definitely OPEN !!
Super clean, super friendly , super atmosphere. Wonderfully appointed.
Loved the artwork ????
What a lovely little pub! Had a big family meal and even though they're small they sat us on a few tables and catered warmly to us. The pub itself it beautifully set with plants outside and a cute little garden. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food....well that was lovely and very well priced! A generous roast portion and very well cooked. It's set out in the countryside but definitely worth a visit!
Whilst we only stayed one night in this gem, we could all see it would be a great base for a relaxing visit to the Cotswolds. We were a group of four and rented two bedrooms at the bottom of the garden attached to the pub, The Salford Inn. The rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, well equipped and en-suite. We ate in the pub and The menu choices were plentiful, the food for four adults having three courses each, all different meals came with nothing but praise!! Highly recommended. ||Breakfast is provided in your room, refrigerated and of continental style, it was a delight to sit outdoors on the picnic bench in the morning sun enjoying the variety of food on offer. We ate dinner in the pub the day we arrived and the food was great. All four of us had a different meal with no complaints. ||The owner was great with communications and assisted us with information about our mobility concerns. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Salford Inn to others.
Myself and my partner came here for dinner and a few drinks. When we arrived the gentleman behind the bar was so friendly and welcoming. Straight away we fell in love with the cosy place. |We sat outside in the beautiful courtyard in the sunshine and shortly followed the food. |It was delicious! Excellent menu with plenty to choose from for all appetites! My partner had the beef which was cooked to perfection and the flavours were just divine. |We will definitely be coming back here. Couldn’t fault anything. |Amazing.
Stopped in for a pint and a dish of ice cream with my daughter. This is a beautiful country pub and although we did not eat all of the food we observed looked excellent. They have a cozy area surrounding the fireplace with games, books and nice sofa - exactly the place you want to find on a chilly evening.
Truly excellent fish and chips, the tartare sauce is the best ive tasted. Great value and hospitality, it's always good to see a chef who clearly is good at and enjoys his craft. They also had some great ales and cider on draft.
My sister and I booked one night here to attend a meeting in Chipping Norton. Although I requested a twin, a double had been made up, but this was very quickly noticed and changed by Alex. ||We needed to eat earlier than normal food times, but again this was no problem and our excellent meal was cooked when we asked for it. ||The pub is friendly and welcoming, the three rooms are in a separate building, so no pub noise, and the continental breakfast is left in a fridge in the room for you. So not for those wanting a traditional English, but perfectly adequate.
This is a wonderful and homely village pub and the owners and bar manager are welcoming. I have enjoyed numerous visits for bar snacks, full meals and simply drinks; I have never been disappointed.
The menu and service are of an extremely high standard.
I shall be visiting when I next return to the area.
