Fabulous place, very cosy and love the "vibe". Good prices and food; bacon too undercooked for our liking and everything was just a bit too oily but other than that, it was tasty ????
Spotted this cafe on Google maps after spending the morning at Carew Castle. It was really lovely food and although it's a small menu, the veggie options were a nice change! I had the flatbread platter which was delicious, and my partner had the fish finger sandwich which had some lovely chips. The food came quickly after we ordered. Lots of car parking.
Stopped in at The Rowan Tree for lunch on a trip to Freshwater East beach, and were absolutely delighted. Really friendly service, extremely accommodating of dogs and a baby, and plenty of seating inside and out.
I had the fish finger sandwich, others in the group had mackerel pâté, rocketeer rarebit, frittata (a special), and the pressed pork sandwich. Portions were lovely and generous, and every meal tasted really fresh and like it had been cooked from scratch that day. Strawberry milkshake was incredible as well! Would thoroughly recommend a visit.
Paradise for coeliac!
Visited for lunch today with my mam and our well behaved little dogs.
What a delight! Varied menu. Coeliac friendly dishes. Lovely waiting staff. Delicious food.
My mam had the Gardeners sandwich and I had the Mackerel pate both on delicious gluten free bread accompanied by a lush tasty salad. Very generous portions.
The chips were awesome too.

Lovely little place. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Amazing food. Lovely staff. Dog friendly and our dogs loved it just as much as us. Will definitely be going back again.
The food here is honestly incredible. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Such good atmosphere and always great.
This cafe is a lovely little gem. The food was so good we decided to go twice! Their tea selection is excellent as well. The staff were super friendly and it's dog friendly as well.
