When this restaurant first opened I thought it was pretty decent Tex Mex. Over time however I've noticed the food quality is super uneven. Sometimes it's delicious, sometimes it's almost not worth eating. The wait staff are not the best I've ever seen. There have been times when they'll drop the food off and then disappear until I finally have to flag someone down to ask for the check. Overall...the three stars I gave is generous; it's closer to two stars if I'm being brutally honest.
Very busy location at lunch time. Service was excellent and our meals were tasty and well priced.
I was absolutely impressed by this restaurant and its employees. Most importantly the food was delicious. I had the taco Tuesday special soft tacos shredded chicken and beef and for 1.49 each they were incredible, the quesabirria was amazing as well. However the employees were awesome, each person that checked in on me or even that spoke to me were friendly and helpful and truly a joy to dine with. This was a wonderful experience, ill certainly be back. Do yourself a favor if you're in the area give it a try.
The food is usually pretty good, but the last couple times I've been there the servers have basically forgotten about us being there. One time I have to get up and ask someone to come and take out order. There were only 3 other tables while I was there. Our server was literally in the kitchen goofing around (we could hear him and see him through the kitchen door window). Servers were just walking past (including our server) and I had to flag them down for refills, to go box, literally everything. We waited a while before going back and gave it another try. More of the same. Also, the staff doesn't think that anyone that comes in can speak Spanish, so they speak vulgarly, swearing loudly and casually because they think no one knows what they're saying. That, or they just don't care.
What a great find. Clean, great food and service. I had chicken quesadilla and asked for extra veggies - OMG it was amazing. Hubby loved his burrito rancheros. The warm tortilla chips and house made salsa were perfect. Also lots of parking if you happen to be in a motorhome.
So, we dined in. Service was great. Love the atmosphere but let’s be serious. That was not a skirt steak I was served. It was a top or bottom sirloin. No fat cap or nothing. Sad. Trynna finesse your customers. Prices are good but won’t be returning. I want exactly what I order, nothing more or less.
So then I tell the manager on duty. We both confirm I was given a lesser quality steak. And he does nothing but acknowledge what I’m saying and thank me for coming. Hahahah will never come back!
We called in a pick-up order to The Rodeo Cantina Grill. Hands down the best Mexican food we had in a long time. They said it would be ready to be picked up in 25 minutes. We live 20 minutes. By the time we got there, our food was almost ready. We ordered 3 different meals. They were all hot and delicious. We will be going there and ordering there again.
Great food and service. Absolutely love the Texas Rice dish. Recommended for any lunch or dinner.
