I have been here a few times now. Saturday morning, I had breakfast. I have to admit the banana nut pancakes are the best pancakes I have had in years. Eggs, grits and sausage patties were good also. But it is a bar. Drinks are real drinks here. Not watered down with the juices, sodas, and other stuff used to make special drinks. The bartenders are not light handed. Also, met the owner John. Great guy, made us feel very welcome.
Ordered 3 pitchers of beer.. Paid the bill and left a tip.. I looked at my online banking statement and saw that the bartender added a tip onto my tip.. The manager was nice and credited the funds back my account.. My concern is how often does this kind of theft happen.. Check you bank statements after leaving this establishment.. I’m definitely going to spread the word to my co-workers at the Torrance refinery to find another bar to go drink after work.. Theft of a hard working persons money is unacceptable.
Open 6 am to 2 am. Not a restaurant, mostly a bar that has a grill. Right across from the refinery, it is a good place for a quick bite and drink.
One of the best lil dive bars around! Bartenders are friendly and it's a good vibe all around.
I've been comin here for quite a few years and never had anythin that I didn't like...generous portions on the food...you've got to stop in and try it yourself...pool tables(2) Golf Machine game, dart board, and video machine with a variety of games on one machine, a jukebox to pick gr8 songs and a patio outside to smoke your cigarettes...what more can you ask for...And it's a Full Bar with lots of friendly ppl and 6 r 7 TVs as well...A Great Place To Watch Your Sports any day of the week you'll wish you knew of this place sooner...GG-Gail????
I went there for a beer, but was in an extremely good mood so I thought I'd treat myself to food as well I got the Chicken Melt, I would actually get again, it was basically the healthiest option on the menu. It came with a side. I opted for the Cup of Soup (gumbo). I was very pleased.
Excellent service, delicious and good food.
2 pool tables! Pretty good shape. Great breakfast sandwiches!
