Great bar with a great view! No complainys, get a cherry bomb beer and some queso!
Went there at sunset for a breathtaking sunset over the river, which was worth the trip. The service and food, however, could use some improvement. There was no hostess, we sat ourselves, and it took about 10 minutes to get a server. The servers seemed to be picking random tables and was chaotic. I ordered a sidecar, but it came with salt instead of sugar on the rim. My husband had the smoke and mirror, which tasted like drinking burnt plastic. We ordered food, and at 6 pm, they were out of the steak bites, so we got the crab cakes caprese flatbread. The crab cakes seemed store bought, and the flatbread was a bit soggy and cold. A table next to us ordered the $40 charcuterie plate, which was mostly cheese cubes, salami, and round crackers. So go there for the view, don't expect upscale drinks or food.
The atmosphere was very enjoyable in The River Room on the 9th floor of the Hyatt Place Hotel in East Moline. We picked a table by the window so we could see the river while we ate. The pulled pork nachos were delicious that we shared. They have a bar in the restaurant so some people were there for drinks.
Jamie, the bartender we had, was amazing. Her drinks were spot on and beautiful. I will hands down drive out of my way to grab an elderflower martini or an espresso martini. Beyond friendly staff and the bar is sleek and smartly decorated. My finance agree's that it's dope af! 10/10!
This is definitely a lounge setting. They do not have a cook at the top. 9 Dots & Bites to be exact. There is a bartender. You need to order your food items at the bar in the main lobby, you may then take your food up to the River Room on the 9th floor. Beautiful views of the Mississippi. Great chill zone. It was alittle misleading to several hotel guests, that had to join us going up and down the elevators to figure out where to order.
I had an enchanting evening at this beautiful and elegant restaurant. The Delmonico cut steak was incredibly buttery and juicy, creating a warm and homey feeling when paired with the delightful bread and assorted butters. The carpeted flooring exuded elegance, complemented by a coat check at the entrance and a welcoming smile from the waitress. The highlight was the breathtaking view of the moon, adding a touch of magic to the entire experience. A truly memorable dining affair.
The atmosphere here is amazing, if you like quiant and quiet. The river view is TOP NOTCH. The signature cocktails are all very good. The Bartender is very knowledgeable and can make what you like. The food is good, but small portions and high prices. I can certainly understand why with the very high food prices in our area.
