It was a fall day, and we were hundreds of miles from home. The air was crisp and the colors of the leaves delightful. We were headed for Big Sky with big dreams…. That’s when it happened. The front wheel of our camper van started to shake. We were out of cell service, and barely made it into town. The bearing was smoking, the wheel almost gone. That’s when Joe Williams and The Repair Shop came to the rescue. We got towed to Island Park because they were the only ones available for miles. Joe squeezed us into a very busy day, and after going out of his way to help us, we were on our on way in no time at all. He worked some miraculous magic and repaired a total mess of a situation, and for a great deal. We drove 11 hours home the next day, not a rattle or squeak in sight, not a whiff of smoke to boot. Home at last we sat down to write a well deserved review. The Repair Shop is a magical business, and its owner is nothing short of a wizard. Thank you, Joe Williams. We are in your debt.
They fixed me up good and the price was reasonable. I had a slashed tire, and no A/C. They fixed .e within an hour of arrival on a Thursday afternoon. Scott was very helpful!!
I was a thousand miles from home, it was on my 34th wedding anniversary when my truck started running bad, it went to half power and started running rough on a Saturday, it was not a good experience. On Sunday I saw this garage called the Repair Shop in Island Park, ID. On Monday morning I was on their doorstep at 8:15 and was greeted by Scott, I told him all that had happened and he took the keys gave them to Joe, he took the truck into the shop and ran the codes. He explained the codes to me and stated that because it was a diesel I would need to take it to a dealer to get it fixed. He also played a six minute U tube clip with a complete explanation of the issues with my truck. Thirty minutes later I was on the road to a dealer and they were able to fix it. They were so nice, honest and knowledgeable and they wouldn’t take a penny for all the advice. This is the real deal!!
I was in West Yellowstone with a simple car fix needed. I called multiple dealership service centers up to 80 miles away. No one would accommodate us. They couldn’t even see us for 2 weeks. I called the Repair Shop and Scott was able to immediately see us and perform the REGEN on our Chevy diesel.

Great repair shop! We had an issue where the part needed to be replaced but I couldn't wait for the order to come in and it wasn't a critical issue. They took time to show me how to fix it myself and even put some air in a low tire at a very reasonable cost. Great folks! I felt very taken care of and would go back anytime!
Our truck was having issues and we need to leave for Oregon the next day. A 700 mile trip hauling a trailer. The D&D in Ennis wouldn't see the truck. I called these guys at 11 30 and they would see us. Got there at the end of their lunch time, they moved a vehicle out to see us. Hayden was awesome, they found the problem and did a quick temporary fix with zip ties that got us home and into our repair shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly

Yesterday Joe helped us out when our brand new radiator overheated due to the prior mechanic not completing the job. We were in the middle of nowhere and Joe carefully and methodically diagnosed the problem and got a giant air bubble to burp out of the radiator and sent us on our merry way. Joe has had this shop for 34 years and it is rare to meet someone with so much expertise in the field. He treated us with so much reassurance and care. Thanks Joe!
Went in on the last day of my vacation due to a weird smell and popping in brakes. Diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes, Scott showed me the issue and had me out of the shop in about an hour and a half. Top notch work, fair price, and saw me immediately. This place was absolutely amazing, highly recommend!
