Fantastic it's pub. They often put bands on and food truck outside. Landlady is lovely always has a smile on her face. Would definitely recommend popping by.
Had one drink. Drinks ok. Staff friendly. But really smelt of urine when we was stood at the bar and we wasn't that close to the toilet either. Needs updating.
Beer OK service OK but pub very dated needs money spending on it paint and upholstery very tired
Just a quick stop on the way home. John Smith's and a kebab went down great.
Honestly only come here for the bike nights on a Tuesday (I live about an hour away) but it's worth the journey, nice pub, reasonable prices ????
My friend and I enjoyed it here. The food was good. Very tasty coleslaw the tuna mayo sandwich was very well filled and the sauce selection was very good. Everything from your standard mayo and ketchup to sweet chilli sauce and salad cream, which you don't always see. ????????
Tried stakes 16£ and 20£ asked for medium. One overcooked another rare. Probably second to last place for a steak. Not coming back. For over 50£ bill.... Joke. Think staff should see what they serving and from time to time have a taste of the food they serving.
The visit was not to the red lion but to the kebab van on site. Great quality and quantity of food provided at s great price. What is there not to like
