Lovely meal for four, reasonably price food and ale, the ham was really good, and the Woodchester whopper burger was huge as was the Fryday (great marketing) haddock. Good selection of ales and cider, I had the Flat Tyre rhubarb cider which was surprisingly tasty and pink.
Listed as open till 10pm, arrived last friday night 8.50pm , busy but doors locked and no explanation apart from clearly could not get in. Went to another nearby who indicated hours do vary here. Pub looks lovely, tucked away village , but need to know when a customer is / is not welcome
The ram is a brilliant local pub that has great deals on ales and other beverages through out the week the foods a bit pricey. My football team go there ever Wednesday and Saturday after games and training and it never packed lovely quite pub.
Rude, arrogant and aggressive..
A village pub that's owner treats his customers with contempt. There are far nicer establishments to frequent with a 10 minute strole that will appreciate your custom and treat you with respect, namely the Royal Oak and The Old Fleece... I'd give The Ram Inn a miss if I was you....
Fantastic atmosphere. Delicious roast dinner - just like Mother would make. Always a plus when you get a cauliflower cheese that actually tastes of cheese! Dogs welcome too.
Brilliant pub with friendly staff. Good food and a range of real ales. Lovely views across the vale to enjoy from the outside area. Lots of parking.
Really nice "old world" pub with lots of wooden beams, excellent food and very good range of beers/ales. Provided food for us despite us being a little after hours. Recommended.
Lovely, unpretentious and friendly 400 year old pub. Good food and smashing views across the valley from the garden at the back. Nice, helpful staff too.
