Pub and staff nice and welcoming, first time we went the pie I ordered was nice but had a suet topping, it was tasty and hubby's chicken dish was ok, we went a second time and had curry, not impressed with this, tasted like it came from a tin, definitely not a chicken tikka and not a chicken jalfrezi, no thick sauce didn't even look like what it should have been, apart from that was a nice pub in the village ????
What a super little pub.
Did the usual thing a booked prior to an evening meal but it was quieter than usual. That said, as the season picks up I'd book to be sure.
A great selection of food on the menu, locally sourced and an array of currys on the specials board. Handsome portions of food and priced really well. Only a couple of ales on on my visit but there were the 4/ 5 lagers on the pull. A cosy pub in a beautiful village with locals and visitors.
Add a warm welcome from Ken the Landlord and the night will be an enjoyable one.

Absolutely the place to visit Ken and Sue most welcoming. Warm atmosphere lovely local crowd. Good food . definitely we will return each time we are here..and even go out of our way to visit. Thankyou so much ????
Lovely country pub, the food was first class and well worth the money.
Popped in for a swift pint after a long car journey with my partner and ended up staying a fair while longer than anticipated! The pale ale and stout are excellent, but more than that, it was how welcome we were made to feel by the landlord and landlady. Great folk.

My fiancee, myself and our dog visited here on a Wednesday evening. It's a great traditional public house. We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and her staff. The beer was excellent and the food very good. I really recommend this Inn. If you're eating here I suggest you book a table.
We visited here 25/01/23. A lovely welcome when we arrived. Had a fabulous steak pie and chips and burger. Very nice beer as well. If you’re ever in the area, pay a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
3 x Gammons and 1x steak pie superb. 3 Tuns pale ale and stout spot on. Certainly recommend this pub, will be back when in area again. Cheers!
