My husband and I ate here for the first time today because we recently moved to the area and love trying the Mom-n-Pop stops. I will say that this place has some of the best bacon around, hands down. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast and the steak seemed to be a little rubbery. I think that this diner is known for doing their meat "well done" though because a lot of regulars there prefer it that way. I'll know for next time when I try the NY Strip breakfast on our next trip there. They seemed to be out of a few things such as Decaf coffee, American fries and lemons for water and iced tea. The server, although kind, could've used a smile when greeting customers or a more peppy attitude. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will be back. Prices are great considering the portion sizes are big. I like the signs on the wall in the diner. I loved that it's a small establishment. The bathroom could use an update but from the reviews I read, it sounds like the guy they rent from is dragging his feet on helping them out with this. Either way, make your own judgements. Oh, also, I seen a lot of people complain about the wait time for menus and food... There were a few people ahead of us and I feel like we were given menus and drinks immediately and food was out within 10-15 minutes.
My wife and I have gone here for years to eat breakfast. Very good food and generous portions. However service has always been sub-par. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Only one waitress to serve dine in customers and not a good waitress. The cook can only make one ticket at a time. Sorry to say they lost our business. The last time we went, there were 5 tables that had people. We sat down and after15 minutes we got up and walked out. The waitress could have given us some water and a menu. She should have let us know we weren't invisible. She really needs to learn how to multi-task. And a good cook can manage several tickets at once. But it's their business and if they are happy with being sub-par they will do it without our business.
A cozy old fashioned cafe that bring back memories ❤ the hamburgers are excellent quality that you will love just like you were a little kid hey I'm 60 years old. The Bacon is thick to eat with pride ???? I order mine with bacon yummy!! Breakfast are also good the portions are also yummy ❤ you have to stop by here Duwaigic is famous for its lakes of fishing and relaxation. Thus little cafe I'm telling you it's worth stopping by!
Everyone's is nice and polite. The coffee is also very good get a cup.
Hours here change so Wednesday they're close hours are 7am to 2pm.
Spoil your self and forget the city for a while come by and enjoy the meals

The portions were generous prices were great for 3 adults and a growing teenager. Real bacon on the burgers with decent coffee. real time feel of a mom /pop restaurant.
I always leave this restaurant satisfied! The food is very good here. The kids said best pancakes ever!
I went today to get breakfast and the owner was there running the place by himself but he still had a friendly, positive attitude and the biscuits and gravy was the best!
This place has little going for it. I ordered a breakfast scramble and it was very generic looking. I couldn't eat it due to the overwhelming taste of crisco. The atmosphere was okay, but I didn't need to look at a vacuum left sitting out. Oh, and the cook had a bad attitude.
In response to owner saying one of the tables said I complain whereever I go... Is this how you want to treat customers? Also, there was only one other table while we were there. Come to think of it, only two tables during the heart of Sunday morning breakfast, enough said.
It is a very good place to eat food is good portions big and staff is friendly to you
