Best KPortal Reviews

Casual, Local, friendly vibe. Very good meat quality. Rustic food almost like home cooking. Makes a pleasant change compared to lots of pubs with a more sterile samey atmosphere. Chef and waitstaff very friendly and accomodating.
We went there for lunch, after cycling around Grafham Water, the food was excellent, the staff really friendly, we met the owner, who was also the chef, great guy.
Highly recommend for walkers, cyclists, meeting friends
We had a wonderful meal on Sunday 7th April. There was 13 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was very nice, the staff couldn't do enough for us and we felt very relaxed. We will definitely be going again in the near future.
They did a great job starting up the Racehorse again. We look foward to visiting often. And by the way, the Sunday Roast was outstanding ????
Friendly service. Burgers were nice.
We stumbled across this lovely place by mistake. We had been stuck on the A14 and needed somewhere to stop and found this lovely little pub. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even stopping to have a chat and a joke with us. The food was excellent and very good value for money. We enjoyed it so much we took our children back the following week and they loved it too! Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
A fantastic pub. The best roast dinner I have ever. Sublime food cooked to perfection. A lovely pub with great cosy atmosphere. Visited here many many times and it the best pub I've been to in the whole of the UK. Some come close but none top it. If your close by definitely worth a visit. Great menu and the chef/owner is brilliant. A culinary genius
Riding down the B660 was great fun and finding this place entirely by chance was a welcome find. I didn't use the pub part but went straight to the cafe. There were lots of jams, cheese and other goodies for sale in the cafe shop. The coffee was fine but the place lacked atmosphere and friendliness.
