⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars brilliant pint , dog and kid friendly . thanks Amy and Terry
Nice little pub, local beer options. Obviously popular with locals who are friendly. Great big log burner and dog friendly which makes it a great stop on the dog walk.
They don't serve food when we visited last month and I'm not sure if there are plans to.
Always lovely and warm fantastic ale and lovely people that run it
Great pub. Few of the lads go straight from work. Lovely pint from there and the owners are very friendly .
Good find for a pleasant Sunday afternoon drink. The Wrexham Pilsner Lager was excellent so, I imagine, it's a nice place to drink at all times.????????
Great to see the pub open again the new owners have done a great job on the renovation nice friendly atmosphere good range of drinks. Wish them all the luck for the future ????????????
So glad this wonderful building of the old pub that closed many years ago has been saved from the vandalised outer condition it had received from youths! I wouldn't have called it Quarry Arms though, because really the Borris Quarry behind it is destroying the local land by - you guessed it turning it into a gigantic ugly hole. To be fair though I can understand why it's old name Gredington Arms, has gone, it sounded too posh for where it is. Maybe someone else can come up with a less depressing name than Quarry Arms? I suggest The Chestnut and Badger, Holt Road, Near HMP Berwyn. For 3 reasons:
1, To the right of the pub are many beautiful Chestnut Trees.
2, Behind the pub are mini quarries ( tunnels really ) by the Badgers that like the sandy soil there to live in.
3, Many people travel miles to the prison for work or to visit relatives or friends there. And this pub could is ideally placed to counter for them. But they need to see its name come up in association with the prison to catch there eye! Hope you dont mind my trying to help! Stephen Gallagher.
Great pub we enjoy going when our shift ends. Its in a great place too easy too find
