What a great find... We were stopping at a local camp site where the owner recommended the pub and restaurant as a place to go.
Well, what a great recommendation!
Great service at the bar on entry, and the great service continued throughout the late afternoon and into the evening.
A very good Indian menu, with traditional favourites and the chefs specials, which are really worthy of a look.
We both had starters and mains from the specials menu, the food was extremely tasty and value for money.
We'll definitely be back for another visit, and I'd thoroughly recommend giving it a try.
Myself and my husband were camping down the road from thus pub and went for our anniversary meal as it was walking distance and we could have a bottle if wine.
We was allowed in with our small dog which was perfect, staff very nice and friendly and the food was indian food and it was all freshly cooked (had a bit if a wait fir starter and then main meal after starter but was well worth the wait) it was really tasty and you could tell there was no nasty jars, pastes or additives to the food which was amazing.
Would definitely recommend and go back.
Went here at a busy period , but the staff found us a table and we ordered food which was very tasty ✅ the staff were pleasant and jolly , I would highly recommend if your in the area
The food here was great pub lunch food (only 4 stars because the vegetarian options were a tad limited) but what really stood out was the customer service and atmosphere. The team were simply brilliant at helping us out, ensuring we had what we needed and making our visit a delight. Thank you!
Visited last night. What a great place. Friendly staff in the bar and the restaurant. We opted for the Indian cuisine and we were not disappointed. It was excellent. We had poppadoms and then starters followed by our mains. Shemi kebab was lovely and good to see different options alongside the usual meals. Garlic sizzler and a Koran dish.Great to be able to see the kitchen. We had a truly good visit.
Wonderful family meal out and they had a dog friendly area. Lots of choice and all the meals were well presented and delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
It's one of the best curry's I've had. And I have had a lot coming from Birmingham. Would definitely recommend this place the flavours in the curry was fantastic ????
Have ordered takeaway from the 2chefs Indian @ The punchbowl a few times now during the pandemic, it’s the best Indian we’ve had in a long time, the food tastes fresh with loads of flavour and isn’t very oily. Looking forward to dining in, hopefully in the near future when things get back to normality.
