Great food and great service! Made a booking ahead of time and everything was perfect. Lovely staff here, the waitress is very kind and attentive, barman is friendly and brilliant at making drinks, and the chef makes good food and very tasty pudding! 5☆

Locals pub but friendly to all. Haven't eaten there recently but heard the food is good.
Actually ended up having a meal here the times during a recent visit staying in West Felton. It is a locals pub, but we were always made to feel welcome. There was only a limited bar meal menu available when we visited, however the food was of good quality and excellent value for money and would be happy to pop back in if in the area again.
Fantastic food, friendly staff and owner / chef has a great personality. Been twice now and eaten from lunch and evening menus.
Lunch menu is great pub lunch food which is cooked to perfection.
Evening menu a bit more adventurous, generous portion sizes and fabulous flavours.
Tip - don’t go expecting fast food, enjoy the surroundings and a rest between courses. Enjoy the experience - we did!

Have eaten here 3 times and I have to say each time gets better! I recently had the lamb shank and I can honestly say that it was the best I have ever had and the gravy - oh my word! Divine! Hubby had bacon steak and said it was lovely. As for the garlic flat bread... best ever! The bar staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Fabulous food, great staff, friendly atmosphere, everytime I go to my parents we go for either dinner or sunday lunch. Wish I lived in the village but then I'd be in danger of eating out at The Punchbowl every night. Lovely owner, great personality and so helpful.
