Excellent food and good choice of drinks. Service also really friendly and efficient... Needs a good makeover physically which I have been told its happening but probably not until next year... Only reason it lost a star was because of the appearance but looking forward to when it's upgrade is complete and expect The Pullman to be a great place to eat and drink.
2nd time I've been in the place, once for lunch a few months ago which was really nice and then last night they had a dj on, he was excellent, one for the regulars told me that it was the best and busiest night she's ever seen!!
Bar staff were excellent too considering there was only 3 of them on so they deserve a mention.

This has got to be the worst pub in the area if not the West of Scotland. The service is atrocious and the food is barely edible. For a village as beautiful as Kilmacolm the local pub is a disgrace. It is not even worth one star in my opinion but it appears that I have to give it one star to post this review.
I was in a group of 6, accompanied by our 7 dogs. Usually, when we have been here before it is in the summer months and we sit outside. However it was lunchtime, on a cold Sunday in January, so we sat inside for the first time. The staff could not have been any friendlier or anymore accomodating. The food was excellent and they even catered for one of the dogs. So, 5 stars for the staff and the food. The only thing letting the place down was the decor. In need of some tlc. However, I thoroughly recommend the Pullman, particularly if you're accompanied by your dog, or a pak such as ours. ????????
My regular when home from travels. An honest pub with a good selection and solid menu. Staff have always been friendly. The only pub in quite a large village, but friendly all the same. A good place to relax in this big bad world!!!
Staff are very friendly, food was delicious and all came out at the same time. Great prices for the big portion size you get. Favourite pub to get something to eat.
If we wanted frozen food for our dinner we could have stayed in. Oh yea and I don't even eat frozen food at home. Very disappointed with the frozen chicken leak and ham pie, frozen chips and frozen peas and the bone dry roasted chicken with burnt onion rings into the bargain that my partner had. Sadly will not be back for another!
