I love this cozy restaurant. I enjoyed breakfast here. It provides exceptional bakery and coffee. It is a lovely place to enjoy a simple and quick meal. They offered brunch before, which was fantastic. i dont have a chance to try the new menu, and will try if i visit it again in the future.
Exceptional in every way. It was such a pleasure eating here. The service was excellent and the setting was so lovely. It's dog friendly which was a huge bonus. The food was delicious. We had the courgette herb fritters and smashed avocado cannellini beans on toast - both with added poached eggs. Will go back!
So glad we found this amazing little place - delicious fresh colourful food, learned about a new sustainable wine producer and fabulous, friendly customer service from Jack / Jaq and team. The love, care, attention and passion shines through. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Just off Walcot St, nice quiet setting. Good coffee and selection of breakfasts - we had Turkish eggs, and pancakes - quite tasty but maybe a bit expensive for what they were. Cakes looked excellent.
If you want a meal that has you leaving satisfied and taken care of, don’t miss Jaq’s!
Jaq is a wonderful host, she makes you feel very welcome and the atmosphere and decor are spot on. The availability of fresh salads is great. I loved the aubergine, cabbage and bulgar wheat salads and you could tell the ingredients were of the highest quality. The menu is conceptual and great detail is put into making the dishes stand out. As a meat eater, when you only realise afterwards that it was all veggie but you are so satisfied, it’s a great sign.
The zaalouk was really delicious, I wish I could have it every day. I will be returning soon!
A beautiful secluded terrace just off Walcott Street. Out of the breeze, in the sun, this could feel very Mediterranean! The food is fresh, light and delicious. Great service, great coffee.
Very overpriced! £21.21 for 2 hot drinks & 2 average pastries!
Eye watering prices for average stuff. I saw no menu / price list up, so I couldn't tell prices beforehand. They probably survive on footfall from unsuspecting customers in the Neptune that's part of the same building. Average sized coffee and tea. They say sit and we'll bring it over. You pay at the end. BAM! £21.21. If they'd either shown the price list or told us the price before consuming, we'd have walked away. I feel this is deceptive behaviour. And just crazy crazy prices.
What a wonderful experience! We stopped in today for a late lunch, and it was divine. The food was as beautiful as it was delicious, and the people were oh-so-kind. LOVE!
