Had a mixed kebab. The done meat was ok. But the chicken meat looks like something I scraped of my plate after a Sunday roast. The dog doesn't even like it
Always delicious food and excellent service. I’m grateful to have somewhere close by that will do gluten free fish and chips! I never have any reaction as a coeliac and it’s all separate and safe.
I was just passing and needed food! The staff were friendly and prepared to freshly fry my fish. I had a small haddock with chips, £7. The chips were crunchy and fluffy inside, the fish was white and had a thin crisp batter. Excellent quality food and good portion control. Well worth a visit!
They have gluten-free days when they use a different fryer because they understand properly what gluten-free means. And the food is excellent - gluten-free or otherwise. This is now our regular chippy.
Haaa ???????? I absolutely adore this lovely little chip shop ???? it's the best and since I called by a year ago and happened to notice it is under new management as previously the food was only just passable, and ever since the new manager has taken over both the food and his staff are absolutely???? top notch!" Exactly what you expect in these modern times. It's actually my local too! Both Gordon Ramsay, Gino and Fred would be well proud! ???? And I'v never really had any problem with the staff there "ever.
Priory Fish bar, after tasting that even more improved delicious and delightful seaside taste that was captured in my food today and the lovely smiles and warm welcome I received "literally as I was both freezing and starving when I dropped by that was coming from both the manager and the staff, I can honestly say that this is by far the best chippy I have had the pleasure of visiting "ever" in Nottingham and that is the honest truth!" I kid you not!"
And I do not appreciate anyone who ever dare try to slate this place ???? They really do deserve all the praise and recognition and loyalties for their exceptionally selective expertise when producing such good quality food and to get that good old traditional fish and chips taste and gorgeous golden crisp batter we all long for in such a fine meal to such a high standered that certainly isn't an easy task to master at all. I know after working in catering and several attempts myself. So before you pass judgement, have a reign check please. The prices are as you expect for real good honest food! ????????Enjoy!" I certainly did!" ????????
im v fussy on what food I order my son as hes coeliac and im always edgey about new places, but the food waz outstanding and the best chippy supper hes had since goin gluten free
Service was great! Chips were really nice, and the portion sizes was huge! Fish was a good quality. However, the only gripe (and this is probably down to personal taste) was that the fish batter tasted a little too salty. But overall a great fish and chips!
Lowest quality Doner Kebab you will find. Utterly disgusting, sickening and revolting. The Doner Kebab is white in colour. Not fit for human consumption. Please avoid this place for your own self respect. What a waste of my money and calories. Going in the bin.
Reply to slly owner. 2 of us purchased food together, so why wouldn't we give a review each?. Your doner is absolutely disgusting and soon you will be closing down seeing the other reviews. Instead of denying the issue maybe improve your quality. Every decent review for this business is from the previous management when the food was completely completely different. You are laughable and the last time I ever come here lol. You went from serving dog food to telling me the photo is cold. Ok. Anyone reading this who orders a doner, I encourage you to leave a review also. Will be very fun.
