Best KPortal Reviews

This place is under new ownership and I love it. It is great to have a place with such great menu options here in Yuma. The smoked meats here and seafood are to die for. I’ve tried a little of everything in their menu and everything is amazing from breakfast, burritos, sandwiches, tacos, salads, coffee. I love the ambiance it is decorated with a classy taste. Took some of the pictures from their website.
Cute little bistro open for breakfast and lunch daily. We stopped for lunch and both of us ordered the Alpha Bravo sandwich. Everything is store made, including the bread. For our tastes, we prefer less bread for our sanwiches. (We ended up taking 1/2 of the sandwich home and ate it cold with just the bottom bread and liked it much better. The bread was not as overwhelming, and we could taste the brie more.)
The tomato soup was excellent (although a bit heavy on the pepper so a bit spicy). The pasta salad was excellent! We will be back for breakfast.
After hearing rave reviews we decided to check out The Press Cafe by Baja Viches for ourselves. Once we arrived we were greeted by a polite young woman.
She was very informative when we asked about to food and what she recommended. We ended up ordering the Surf n' Turf sandwich and burrito. I ordered the Cafe con Leche which is a coffee with sweet cream.
Both the sandwich and burrito were pressed and hot. They had a chipotle sauce that gave the ribeye and shrimp a little kick. Over all the food was amazing. We also ordered some of their fresh baked cookies which were also delicious.
The restaurant was clean and decoration had a subtle flair. Over all this was a great experience and plan to come back.
I love the tacos. Good quality ingredients and home made sauces. Juan puts a lot of TLC in every dish. I highly recommend .
Stopped here for lunch while we were in town, and it was well worth the visit. I ordered The Bernie Sandwich. It was super tasty, and the pasta salad that came with it was quite good, as well! Friendly service, with eclectic decor and music, which made for a very pleasant meal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Stepping into The Press Cafe & Bistro is like walking into a culinary renaissance. With new ownership, the bistro has blossomed into a gem worth returning to. The atmosphere retains its cozy charm, now enhanced with a fresh, modern decor that invites you to relax and stay awhile. The menu dazzles with old favorites, now infused with new twists that cater to a variety of palates, including delightful vegan options that don't skimp on flavor. The highlight of my meal was the reimagination of their classic sandwich. The subtle interplay of textures and flavors was nothing short of a masterpiece, making it a memorable highlight that I'll be savoring in my thoughts for weeks to come. Every corner from the counter to the restrooms gleamed with cleanliness, a testament to the owners' dedication. It's clear that The Press Cafe & Bistro isn't just a restaurant, it's a passion project, lovingly crafted to serve not just food, but joy. Service here isn't just efficient; it's warm and genuine, making you feel like a regular from your very first visit. To those who have yet to experience the new Press Cafe & Bistro, prepare yourselves for an encounter that will engage all your senses and leave your heart as full as your stomach. This isn't just a meal; it's a celebration of the new chapter of an establishment that clearly loves its community. Here's to many more visits!
I ordered the Yuman, a soup and a pasta salad. The service was slow but the restaurant was busy. The sandwich was huge! The pressed bread was really good, avocado and turkey fillings were good too. The lettuce and tomatoes were missing in the sandwich. The soup and pasta presentations were nice. But the soup was very salty, and I couldn't eat it. The pasta salad was acid from so much vinegar and I couldn't taste anything else.
Friendly service but unfortunately they made changes to the famous “Yuman” sandwich that I found very disappointing. The previous owner shafted us on a gift card, but I don’t blame the current owner for that. We’ve had the surf and turf quesadilla at the food truck which was excellent, but that is no longer offered.
