Went with our children for the bonfire night fireworks. Although it was incredibly busy, there is plenty of space and no obstructions to hinder the view of the fireworks for younger children. Entry was a donation for the young farmers community. It was very well organised. Parking is going to be difficult at a popular large event like this. However, if you park a short walking distance away from the post and wicket you will find it easy to travel home after the event.
A great place for those who want a modern and refreshing night out in the small village of Wedmore. A range of different drinks to be served, a long with some great good in the pizza and burger variation. With three TV this place has a great atmosphere when important games have been on, with the Cricket World Cup Final and Wimbledon Final being shown on at the same time to a very packed bar. Pool and darts are also available to play. With support from the local cricket club and football team this has managed to appeal to both the younger and older generation, and to all those that love sport.
This is just want we needed.

This is such a lovely club and we will miss it now we are home. The owner, Alex, Chloe, the barmaid and the other bar staff are so friendly and welcoming, which makes it! Even the other customers are friendly and chatty. Would definitely recommend this place and would go back again!! Thank you to Alex, Chloe and all the staff here for making our holiday!!
Went here for the 1st time on Friday for the music quiz. Brilliant quiz, with shots rounds. Well organised and presented. Good time had by everyone there, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Looking forward to next visit.
Definatly a much needed asset for Wedmore.
Had a lovely time in the Post and Wicket! Very friendly staff (particularly Emily!) and a fun, chilled atmosphere. Lots of dogs too ????
So reopening today. And personally a shambles. No social distancing, live football being played on tv screens wirh sound loud so punters shouting to be heard. Darts being played. I mean it was like nothing has happened! I mention it and now they have barred me!!!!!! Make it your self! Be careful!
Hostelry based at the Wedmore playing fields. Large screens both in and out to watch England win plus prompt table service. Excellent afternoon spent with friends
Nice venue, nice facilties, lots of screens for sport...a good time!
