The Presque Isle Campground in Porcupine Mountains State Wilderness Park has the feel of a State Forest Campground for many of the sites. Generator users are confined to one area the campground. Many sights overlook Lake Superior. Heavily forested. Much better campground then the modern facility on the other side of the park, but more isolated and more driving required. Certainly a destination camp ground.
