In the heart of the market rises the best gluten and dairy free stand in all the land! You want a cookie, a brownie, a whoopie, a cookie sandwich, or simply a decadent bite? Stop off at Polka Dot Bakery in Spitafields. The owner was so kind and happy to be spreading the gluten free love to all her customers and I am happy to be one of them X got the maple pecan cookie sandwich and I finished it before walking out of the market. Should of bulk bought treats for later but that’s my excuse to go back X
Everything we tasted was absolutely amazing! ???? We didn’t even realise it’s vegan.
The treats were absolutely lovely, but the person serving us was even more lovely, and filled us with positive energy ????????
So many amazing options of vegan desserts. The caramel pretzel brownie was absolutely incredible and a great size for the price. The lemon cookie sandwich was also delicious, with a lemon curd filling. The giant chocolate chip cookie was fine. I will definitely be back for all the brownie varieties!

Day out in London stumbled across the kiosk and couldn’t resist. Cakes are vegan and gluten free, they taste amazing so a win. Very friendly service well worth a visit
Chocolate chip cookie bought for my daughter and her words she ‘love love loved them and they were the best cookies ever!’. Wife who is gluten free was beside herself too with her pecan and maple sandwich and pumpkin spiced sandwich! I’ll be back for a visit next time I’m passing by!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Polka Dot Bakery! I dream of the blueberry whoopie pies and somehow find myself wandering back almost every single weekend. The brownies are fudgy and delicious. As someone who's gluten free, it can be hard to find quality baked goods. But this place is PERFECT & the baker is a lovely person.
Wow! Tried 3 different cakes (double choc, cinnamon, salted caramel) all were superb.
Totally recommend.
