Absolutely brilliant pub.
Staff are friendly and guarantee a warm welcome.
There are a great bunch of regulars here that add to that welcome and help to generate a brilliant atmosphere.
A superb commitment to live music, and some great bands performing regularly.
The Plough is a fantastic place to hang out and catch live music every weekend. The prices are extremely reasonable, the bar staff are friendly and always up for a laugh.
The support the Plough shows local musicians both established and up-and-coming is second to none!
Great pint guiness
Prices are really good .
Great pub, with friendly atmosphere and great live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They know how to look after their beers or if you fancy something a little different there's cocktails available. Recommend the house speciality a Baby Guinness.
Staff are wonderful, and ever so charming. Couldn't do enough for you.
Drinks are well priced, a big supporter of local live music and a wonderful atmosphere. All are welcome.

Great pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere.. Their cask ale is some of the best I've tasted in the town.. Used to have quite a reputation for being a dive bar but the current manager has obviously put a lot of time and effort into making it the opposite..
The long blonde haired guy and the tall guy are also rather welcoming and great at what they do.
A must if you're new to the area.
