Fantastic Pie’s & assorted Bread & Cakes etc... I was just passing & spotted this great looking shop as I’m always on the look out for a local bakery. I got myself a ‘Mushroom Pie’ with peas & gravy.... it was AWESOME..! I wish there were more of these traditional bakers still around..! Support your own local baker..! :PEACE:✌????????❤️????
Fantastic local shop full of tasty homemade goodies.
As a vegan, the choice is exceptional- From a variety of tasty pies, to toasties, fresh bread, cakes and general good munching.
Love this place-a tiny gem!
I am a regular visitor and am never disappointed with the Pie Parlour's products. The are pies delicious with moist, light pastry which is gluten free, and they're PACKED with a variety of fillings, from vegan Barbecued Jackfruit, and Kadala Curry to the more traditional Cheese and Onion and Meat and Potato. filling. Also on offer are a wide variety of sandwiches, paninis and toasties - one of my favourite panini fillings is roasted veggies.
Of course, I must mention the cakes, which are all gluten free and mostly vegan (so great for those with allergies) and always to die for! I would particularly recommend the cornflake tart, carrot cake and vegan doughnuts. Everything is very reasonably priced - especially considering the quantity you get.
Last but certainly not least is the service at the Pie Parlour. Diane is friendly, warm and funny - exactly what you want when visiting a smaller, local bakery, and the small team of employees are lovely too.
The Pie Parlour is a little way out of the main part of the town (on High Street West, opposite Shrewsbury Street) but is absolutely worth the extra 400-yard walk. Needless to say, I'll be a loyal customer for as long as this place is available in Glossop, and I believe it will soon be expanding to include an inside seating area - even better!
Well that was very unexpected, I don't know the name of the pie that I had but I believe that it was vegetarian made with a sort of fruit and that I have never heard of. The pie was amazing, a light pastry and filled to the brim with an extremely tasty filling. This was my first visit, infact it will be the first of many visits.
Very tasty homemade pie. Good selection. We had kadala curry eaten hot. We then bought a Jamaica curry and a picnic pie to take away for the next day. Very highly recommended.
Was looking forward to going here for dinner as im only working around the corner and enjoy a good pie but after getting a meat & potato i can say i wont be coming back, very bland tasting which is such a shame as its hard to find a good pie shop, back to greggs for me :)
Great 'vegan and gf pies and cakes, also nice toasties, good value as well. Recommended.
Brilliant bakery for Vegan, and gluten free bread, cakes and pies .
