While in town I tried this place. AMAZING food. I went all 3 days I was in town for lunch. Ordered the tuna salad as a melt on rye with fries, it came as a wrap but was still yummy! Day 2, taco Tuesday - cheesesteak tacos with okra. The taco was topped with bacon pieces but bacon bits, they were small but I still got full. Day 3- tuna melt again but they got the bread right, way better on rye than the wrap with okra. I HIGHLY recommend this small local spot. Love it and will go every time I am in town. Small local, bar on one side more seating on the other, a few tables outside. Very reasonable prices.
If your driving down the interstate looking for something to eat, it will be worth your time to skip fast food row and go into downtown. It really is just over the hill, and doesn’t take much time to get there. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was great. The ranch dressing tasted really good. It has a nice creamy texture and is thicker than the standard ranch. The relaxed atmosphere was great. But it may be a little too relaxed for some. The server was nice but was moving pretty slow. Other than that I thought it was a good experience.
This was my second time dining here, and it was even better than I remember! The chicken salad was out of this world it was flavorful and creamy and then place it with that lettuce and tomatoe on rye chefs kiss perfection. The onion rings and fried okra were the best I have ever had from anywhere. I absolutely love the small town local feel of the place. Our waitress was so friendly and so bubbly and made us feel that we were just guests in her home and not out to eat. I can't wait to go back.
Passing through town and decided to stop for lunch. Excellent service and delicious food. I had a chicken salad melt with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Buffalo chicken wrap with potato salad. Served hot and fresh! So glad we stopped here!
Had a lovely experience here- ladies were very kind. Fried loaded bologna sandwich was very tasty. My father enjoyed the pictures of veterans hangin on the back wall. The waitress invited him to bring his photo and they would hang it. Overall great place to grab a quick tasty sandwich.
So glad we stopped at the Pickled Okra for lunch while passing through Forsyth. Attentive friendly server, and a nice cafe atmosphere with eclectic decor. We enjoyed delicious chicken salad - very meaty, with just enough mayo and seasonings- on thick yummy rye bread. Best shoestring sweet potato fries we've had in a long time! And reasonably priced. We would definitely visit again.

The food was okay. We ordered the combo appetizer and burgers. One with a bun and one without. I do have to mention the service was very bad. Way too much to go into details.
The staff were very nice, and we got served quickly! This place is a find your own seat, which was my favorite part. The food was amazing!
