We really enjoyed our meals. The food was very good and service was great. The portions are huge. It looks like the building is an old Huddle House is the reason for the 4 star on atmosphere. It was very clean and neat. We would definitely go back again.
First time here...had 2 waters, 1 sprite, hush puppies appetizer and crab with shrimp dip, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp bucket, fries, ribeye with rice pilaf and side of Mac and cheese....$130ish dollars. Place is very old, like a waffle house on the inside, was glad there was outdoor seating on a nice day! Server was very flat, not rude just couldn't care to be there. Anything we had with cheese, was so "over cheesed" if you will, like no depth of flavor but gobs of cheese and I luv cheese but this was a bit much. Fries were super salty. Hush puppies were good. Chicken was dry and overcooked on fettuccine which was like a bowl of cheese that turned into dripping oil. Ribeye was good for what could be eaten, expect some fat in this cut but almost half of it was fat. Shrimp bucket was good but the cocktail sauce had so much horseradish in it, literally burned my nose and face. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food. One and done is good for me.
Where do I begin? It was an excellent first-time there experience! The service was great, our waitress was super friendly. The portions are very generous, and the food tasted amazing. I can't wait to return.
They even have outdoor dining available.
The food was good, and the portions were good size. The only thing was the food was too salty. Our waiters' service was great. Easy on the salt.
The food and service are incrediable. Some of the freshest oysters I have ever had. They have a great drink menu and pour.
My only issue is the seating looks straight out of an old huddle house booth. There is no room for heavier clients. There is one table with a chair but the rest is old 1983 booths.
Food is awesome! You definitely get your moneys worth!! Shrimp are like baby lobsters, they are HUGE! Catfish filets are very meaty and cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend this place if you are wanting seafood.
The crab and cheese dip was so good. My youngest got the chicken Alfredo and it was the largest portion I think I have ever seen. He enjoyed his food. The fried shrimp were huge and you can get full from the half order which is what I would do next time. Fries were tasty. My oldest got the shrimp boil and loved it. Said the corn was a little spicy but he ate all of his food. A little expensive but great food.
My husband, daughter and I shared the Baby bee bucket. We always get a good meal when visiting this restaurant but definitely wanted to share this one. Our meal tasted great. We had hush puppies and oysters for appetizers. We didn't need them (although those were great too). The bucket was perfect for us and still had food leftover. The crablegs were prepared perfectly. Lobster was great also (we wished that the lobster were sliced open.for us. Because the knife we had wasn't very sharp). The shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes were all excellent as well. We look forward to our next visit!
