We are camping nearby and were able to bike ride to this restaurant. Delicious! Every bite was a treat. The garlic knots, eggplant rollatini, Greek salad and limoncello cake were all amazing. The service was great. The owner even came around to check on us. Very clean inside and surprisingly spacious. Highly recommend.
After moving here years ago, w finally checked this place out. Have been hearing good things about it for a while. Looks are deceiving. It is part of a small strip mall, so we were not expecting too much. Seating inside is somewhat basic, but there are table cloths with glass on top, place settings nicely set with cloth napkins. A bit of a weird mix IMO with the basic tile floors and basic chairs, but it works for the beach. You'd be comfortable in a nice pair of shorts like you just came in off the beach, or a bit more dressy. The service was outstanding. Best service we have had in years anywhere. The food was wonderful. Simple and delicious. I had the lasagna, somewhat basic, but something so many places put to many spices in. This is the best I have had since my mother passed. The last bite was as good as the first. In my book, if you can do this simple dish well, everything you do should be great. I will be back to test that theory. Prices were reasonable for what you get. 10 outta 10, we will be back.
They brought out bread, butter and garlic knots on the house without asking and the garlic knots were delicious.
I ordered the Grouper pasta dish with the clams and it was really good. The grouper was soft and chewy and flavorful. I ate all my fish and clams. I didn’t have room for all my noodles since I wanted to try the chocolate covered ice cream ball with a cherry on the middle. Note for those allergic to nuts, there are almonds in the middle so avoid if you are allergic to nuts.
My kids got the fettuccine Alfredo and liked that. (4/4 of our kids had it and they all liked it - we had 9 people-2 families and were seated right away). One of the older kids and adults got chicken Alfredo and they enjoyed it as well. My husband liked his chicken piccata.
We had to wait a bit before the bread and water came but we were okay with that since they brought the bread and garlic knots and we were tired and hungry. Some of the other restaurants nearby weren’t even taking people at 6pm so you need to get out early if you want to eat out while at the beach on vacation.
Everyone enjoyed their dinners and we were happy with the service. I was surprised more people weren’t here at Valentino. We would come back again.
A cute" hole in the wall" local place. Friendly service goes a long way these days, and this place was excellent. For was great and prices were reasonable in this economy. Small and dark atmosphere, but it was clean.
Visited with my sister when we couldn’t decide what to eat, Came inside and got seated immediately, environment was warm and welcoming. We ordered spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo with some help from our waiter! Food was delicious! Haven’t had pasta that good in a while, I would definitely recommend!
I've lived here since 2012 and never tried this place. The food was a little pricey......but everything is expensive these days. Totally worth the price though, I had the chicken francese and it was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The white wine sauce was really tasty too! It's a little bit of a nicer place so not an everyday place for me but I will definitely be back.
Oh and everyone else I went with had a great experience too. We went out as a group of 5 and everyone in our party was super satisfied with their meal and service!!
First timer, party of five. Restaurant suggested by brother. Marvelous! All choices were great especially guests who had the Veal were pleasantly surprised how great and tender they were, which is extremely rare! Portions were perfect! Kate was our server, perfect job!! Will come again!
The wife took the family out to dinner there tonight, and it was amazing. We had live entertainment, with oldies being performed. Our server Barry was very attentive and very polite the whole time. I ordered the New Zealand Lamb, I don't have a picture of it because I dove right into it once it was put in front of me(it was absolutely delicious!). I do recommend that if you want to try this restaurant out, that you make a reservation because when we arrived it was pretty packed. Overall though, the restaurant was a pleasant experience and all the food was very delicious. I highly recommend this place for a nice meal out with your family.
