This is one of the best breakfast spots in Boise. The service is quick and the food came out hot! I offered my cinnamon roll to my boyfriend and he said he wouldn't be able to eat it, but our server packed it up to go for us. It was quite the treat to enjoy after a long day. Thanks for your service and great food!
While the prices may have gone up the food was still good and our waitress was amazing ????. Will definitely be back because of Darion.

Let’s start with service! Spectacular! Kat you are amazing! The food is excellent and the menu is diverse. Many options and ways to eat without over eating. Coffee is great! Great service makes great breakfast an event vs something that just needs to happen. Will be back.
The building is old and dark inside. The food is okay. Im not sure why, but the toast and hot cakes were cool. We left most of our breakfast. However, our waitress was really nice and gave great service. 1

The food was disgusting. I ordered a full order of the biscuits and gravy. It tasted like they made the gravy out of oil and flour no seasoning. There was no bits of sausage no meat. I could of done alot better. That was 31 out the window. Pitiful do better
First, the staff and service are a compelling reason to dine. Super friendly, fun, and they work hard. The building is older and there's a nostalgia with this kind of space for me. It feels welcoming and relaxing. Food is generous and hearty. Not fancy, but comfort food. The rating systems are a poor reflection of reality, because they aren't categorical enough. Meaning, for diners and a comfort food space, Sunrise would be up there and the ratings would reflect that. But I'm terms of all the restaurants and food in all the world, I mean really. How does a rating system give you any real idea when they differ so widely? Definitely go. It's a great place and super welcoming.
