Such a great place for breakfast. HUGE gluten free options for both pancakes and waffles. They are good portion sizes and decently priced. The service was good as well and very attentive.
I ordered the gluten free Strawberry pancakes and let me tell you they were fire. With homemade whip cream and strawberry syrup topped with fresh strawberries was devine. Will definitely be back!
This place has plenty of parking and it's very nice on the inside with plenty of seating.
French vanilla coffee is great and so is the blueberry syrup. Despite the lack of biscuits and gravy, the meal was still delicious. The waitress was nice as well. My only gripe is the price is expensive. $4 for a coffee is not ideal to me. You can tell that they want to turn around tables quickly as well, which makes sense with how busy this place is.
Jan 2024 Update
Time has not been kind to this place. We had to wait for a lunch spot even though the place was half empty as they do not have the staff to operate at capacity. Our waitress had been there for a long time and she knew the menu and the procedures, but was very distracted by having to deal with too many tables and so it took a long time to get through the meal. Our favorite dish (Mushroom Sherry Omelette) is no longer on the menu so we settled for two others. They were tasty enough.
One strange thing was the "Pastina" soup that came with the sandwiches. It was offered as an option instead of the Italian Wedding soup. When we got it, we noticed that it looked just like a wedding soup, with the little meatballs and all. Asking our waitress about it, she told us that the two soups are actually the same - they just add some spinach leaves if you order the Italian Wedding version! Needless to say, it also did not taste right ... for either type... but that's how they do it these days.

Large portions. Staff that tries hard. Serves breakfast items with a smattering of lunch sandwiches. I'm familiar with the chain from another state. To my taste buds, the sherry mushroom sauce is not as rich as elsewhere. Maybe it was just me...
Parking can be a challenge, which is annoying as the building interior is huge.
The Original Pancake House is just as the name implies,Original, they are second to none, and the Originators of the Diamond experience in culinary eateries. The food at Originals is on the same Pinnacle as Pheasant under glass and Filet Mignon. The staff is more attentive than the most expensive babysitter, meaning throughout your whole dining experience, you want for nothing, and the atmosphere is likened to your own living room, dining room combinations, my kids have made it a tradition to visit on one or all of the holidays in a calendar year, It would be in you and your families best interest to add The Original Pancake House, to your arsenal for combating hunger, and having their PLATINUM Crew, Menu,Food and Atmosphere satisfy all of your senses.
This was my first time eating here and oh my God the food is so freaking good. Like I can't even express how tasty the pancake was. The Dutch baby.... The lemon, the butter, the sugar It's everything you want in a decadent breakfast.
This is the kind of breakfast that you have on your last day on earth because it's that good.
Bonus is that the bacon is really freaking solid and delicious.
Very much recommend.
A magnificent and elegant looking establishment, it's food for the eyes as well as the palette. Dining hall's a bit chilly during the winter, so bring a light jacket just in case. Menu seems relatively expensive, but the food and beverages are great. Online menu is confusing and tedious, and it's missing options compared to the website. System and menu need updating. Other pluses are the friendly staff and ample parking.
What a wonderful place! The service was great. The food was amazing! We had lunch. My burger was delicious but the potato pancakes side stole the show. I also tried some of my Aunt's quesadilla and it was wonderful too. Will go back many times in the future. Highly recommend.
We're usually there each Friday for breakfast. A very good menu. But the pancakes are exceptional. Service is always good, prices are a bit higher than most, but you get what you pay for. Recommend!!
