Server Marie was very friendly. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Syrup was a bit watery but was still good. I ordered an omelet with steak, but got chicken. Marie stated they were out of steak. I was not really happy with the omelet, it was really dry due to being over cooked. Coffee was fresh and delicious. First time here and I can say I was satisfied. I will revisit if I am in these parts again.

While this restaurant used to be bustling every weekend, the lengthy closure of Lavista Rd affected business traffic significantly. This resulted in increased prices.
All of the pancakes are delicious but the must-try dish is the "Apple Pancake". In quotes because it's more like a pie than a pancake and takes a bit longer but is so worth the wait. Definitely worthy of splitting with a friend.

I've been eating here for decades and by now it's like a familiar friend. The food is always delicious and is everything it promises to be - and more! The restaurant is clean and efficient (even when it's packed). But, really, a special mention must be given to the staff - they are consistently friendly and hustling. I love this place.
Don’t let the lived in look keep you from a wonderful breakfast. The Vegi omelette was do light tasting compared to the usual heavy omelette you get elsewhere. Give this place a try, it is worth it. The restaurant needs a facelift, but great fast and friendly service.
The servers are incredibly nice but the establishment has a major gnat infestation. If you don’t mind swatting at gnats the entire time then help yourself. I highly encourage you not to dine at this restaurant at this location. I knew once I entered the restaurant that I should have left and went elsewhere. You can tell that it is poorly cleaned and not well maintained. Also, when you enter, they inform you that there is an automatic 15% charge, not gratuity, that is automatically added to your bill as the server reported that the owners would like to use that money to donate to an apartment building that’s located across the street that recently burned down. Overall, I could not finish my food as I lost my appetite looking at all of the bugs on the mirror, and those that were continuously flying on our tables even more so once our food arrived. Thumbs down for me.
My food was burned unfortunately. The bottom was even MORE burned on the bottom. I guess they were hoping to hide that part. I gave it 2 stars instead of one because there were some parts that weren't exceedingly burnt that didn't taste bad. But the other parts were tough to get through. This was an omelette BTW incase you couldn't tell by the pictures. Will not be going back for anymore of their 'Famous Omelettes'. Accompanying biscuit also tasted days old and looked like someone sat on it.
A great diner. They keep the coffee flowing. I had the veggie omelet, turkey sausage and pancakes. Pancakes we perfect, buttery and warm. Sausage well seasoned. Reasonable breakfast. Great service, make you feel at home!
Great service. Best pancakes I've ever had. Happy I came here for Mother's Day.
