We have a fantastic enclosed, family friendly Beer garden with a new children's play area including swings, slide, balance boards, monkey bars a new seesaw and have plans for further additional activities soon.
We have also just had a BBQ built and plan to use it every weekend throughout the summer season as it's set in an all weather area. Come and check us out ????
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, broad range of customers.... I travelled around 60mins to sample the delights of The Old Wine Vaults and the live music.... be visiting again for certain!!
A great friendly local, good choice of beer, staff that make you want to go back again, definitely a good live music venue, will be back again soon.

The Old Wine Vaults was a pub frequented by many colliers, who, upon finishing their shifts would make a beeline for this establishment. The 'best side' charged an extra penny per drink for the privilege of using said room and in this era the ladies were generally consigned here. Certainly different times. Fast forward to last Saturday 07.10.2023 and although there is no change to the building layout, the clientele are certainly more modern. On the night I was there, occupying the old best side was a four piece heavy rock band. Considering this type of music is one of my favourites, I found myself really enjoying myself. Although this is a place I haven't been to in quite some time, I found this to be an unexpected treat and will now make my way here on a regular basis.

Great place, good staff, lots of live music, nice spacious garden and not too expensive, except when Lilly bullies you into buying doubles ????
