Popped in for a breakfast before we hit the road and safe to say we made an excellent choice. Absolutely lovely food! Ended up taking a fair few things with us to go.
We always stop off here on our way to Borth. Food is lovely. Ham & salad sandwich today, and it was lovely and freshly made brimming with food. The cakes look divine too, but I'm trying to lose weight, so didn't indulge! Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Took a photo of my cheese roll in 2021 whilst watching the arrival of Red Kites at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre
Only ordered two drinks and a really lovely choux pastry with hazelnut filling, but everything was great.
Being dog friendly was a real bonus too.
Staff really friendly and fetched water for our parched furry butty!
Good selection of food options and speedy service. It is unusual to see somewhere that only accepts cash, so this was a real negative.
Cakes were severely overpriced (£6 a slice) and not marked up so you weren't aware until ordered. It felt as if the owner was making up prices on the spot.
Arrived at the tea shop
we are on holiday in the area. Food seemed nice however sold out of what we wanted. 5 year old got a kids meal and we had drinks. Got cakes to take away on the way out, while I was in the rest room hubby heard the watress on the way out make a horrible comment about us having the cheap option and charged us extra on the cakes without knowledge. Daughter didn't finish her meal, she had pizza only had a slice and few chips and I finished what she had rather than waste the food and that ended up with us having a horrible comment made about us.
Definitely poor service due to that remark!
