Always love visiting the Old Spaghetti Factory! I haven't been in years, so we stopped in for lunch.
I always appreciate the aesthetic inside the Spaghetti Factory. The rich colors, velvet chairs, and eclectic interior is a total vibe.
The prices are higher (but everything is now days), but the food is a good as I was expecting/remembering.
The minestrone soup is always a delicious starter. I had the Chicken Parmisan w/Penne. Chicken was perfect, sauce was decent enough, pasta was cooked well. Will be returning!
1. There is NO freshly ground black pepper OR Parmesan cheese
2. There is powdered parmesan cheese
3. When I asked for freshly grated Parmesan, was told there was none but she could bring me grated Romano -- then I got charged for it
4. They provided no pasta spoon -- when I asked for one, I was offered a small dessert spoon and had to clarify that one CANNOT eat pasta with a small dessert spoon! I finally got what the server called an appitizer spoon but it was NOT the correct oversiE pasta spoon one expects from a more upscale place!
4. The sign plus the hostess stated that the bar opened at 4pm. It was 418pm when the area was opened for customers.
My family loves The Old Spaghetti Factory. They offer a great selection of pasta and various other dishes, though I do wish they had more options when it comes to salads. However, the food is undeniably delicious. It's a perfect place for family gatherings and spending quality time together. The atmosphere was awesome, and the service was also great!
It is always good. Food is prepared well and is just a nice spaghetti dinner nothing fancy but good, especially for a chain restaurant. We both usually get the three course dinner which is a good value for the money. Our service at this location has always been above average, very pleasant staff. The atmosphere is fun and especially for kids with the trolly car and quirky decor. Pleasant all around.
I have been a customer for decades. Today I bought 2 pickup orders at Clackamas. I was shocked that the price for the Manager's Special is $24, but ordered anyway. When I got home, I was further shocked by the lack of sauce on my order. You could say it was almost non-existent. At this price, that is a total rip-off.
I came here for my birthday and didn’t want all the attention so the workers didn’t sing to me which I appreciated because I don’t like being the main point of focus. They made sure my pasta was delicious and the lady who served us was so kind and acted like a mom figure in the sweetest sense. She helped me find some gluten free options and they defiantly made my night. I love this place.
The lasagna was terrific .. my marsala was good but the chicken was quite dry.. over cooked .. the accompanied pasta was really good. And my dinner salad was bigger than most side salad .. the restaurant itself is s big and old decor.
Great place to dine for seniors. Go before the dinner hour for no waiting to seat and great service. Senior menu offers a smaller entree for less money, but with all the trimmings. Handicapped parking close to entrance with slight ramp to sidewalk. Greeter seated us in a booth a short walk from the entrance. Partner managed easily with his cane. Has gluten-free pasta option for $1.99 additional.
