This was an awesome little place that we tried close to an Airbnb that we rented for a night. The atmosphere was fun and friendly. The food was very tasty, though just a little over cooked for our liking. The flavors were spot on though. We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again. If you're driving past and are looking for somewhere new to try, this place is worth checking out.
We sat outside while dining in. The waitress was great, and very friendly. The food we all ordered was boneless wings, ribeye (was a little undercooked but was good), and steak sandwich which is a new york strip. We all enjoyed our food and the kids said the fries were the best fries theyd had ever. The steaks seasoning was great and flavorful.
Fast and friendly service. The food was good but not great. That being said the restaurants only been open for a short time and I know it takes a while to work out all the kinks and bugs. I would still highly recommend you stop in here and enjoy a meal.
Well we made the 30 mile drive to check this place out after hearing great reviews, so our expectations were quite high, but we were highly disappointed. First I want to Say the Service Was Great with just a couple small things. We were told we were Lucky as they normally had a line out the door so we felt good that we made the right decision ,Then disappointment started When I ordered our Drinks, The Beer I ordered was a Mich Ultra Light, I was told that was the Last Bottle of it, But they did have it in draft ( I don't drink draft unless its the option) Then we were also informed of a fairly large list of Menu Items they were out of, One of those being the Shrimp Jammers appetizers that I really wanted to try, So Oh Well, SO my Wife ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich, and I ordered the Steak Sandwich, both with Pub Chips. The food arrived within reason, But to say we were highly disappointed is a understatement. Mary's Sandwich had 75 percent more bun than filling, and it was just luke warm, and my Steak Sandwich filled the bun a little better, but not much, and the Steak sandwich was also luke warm, and neither were of any type of presentation quality, looks like they got thrown on the basket on top of the Pub Chips. The Pub Chip were very tasty, but they were way over seasoned, and I put salt on everything. So Overall not the experience we were looking for, We will always give them a second chance. And again the Service was Good, and I tipped our Server very good, as the disappointments were not all her fault. I have eaten at this restaurant several times with my family. It has been very high quality food every time. All the steaks have been cooked to perfection. The fries are some of the best tasting fries I have ever eaten.
I came here for lunch and I'll definitely be back. Our waitress was awesome, the atmosphere was kind of more bar than grill, but the food was still top notch.
I got the catfish platter with seasoned fries, and it was darn good. The catfish wasn't over or under done, and was seasoned well. The fries could have used a bit more seasoning, but what was on them was pretty great.
I doubt I'll go there in the evening, but I'll probably grab lunch from there again!
Waitress was unsociable and not friendly. Only checked on us to take order, drop off food, and bring the check. Never apologized when she didn’t bring the condiments for our food. Never asked us if we needed anything else, and would walk away so fast we couldn’t tell her if we needed anything. The manager on duty was friendly and comped our meal which is why I gave a 2 star. I understand being busy, but don’t understand the lack of genuine customer service. Go to Mad Cow instead, food and customer service is better.
I went in because they advertise selling Cajun food. I ordered the catfish with etouffee on it. When I was served it did not have Cajun etouffee on it, it was covered in something made with tomato paste. They were nice and let me refuse it with out charging me. I spent a good part of my life living on the Louisiana Texas line and if anyone eats here thinking this is Cajun food you are being fooled. These folks don’t know the first thing about Cajun.
