Lovely shop, served by a lovely gentleman who even offered to cut the fudge so we could eat whilst walking around the town, and lastly the fudge, absolutely delicious, lovely texture, the best I've found yet, and we tried a few different shops. We will return next time we visit The Lakes.

Lovely shop! We were staying just round the corner and visited every day for an ice cream and sometimes some fudge. Our favourite was the cool brittania flavour which was vanilla, bubblegum and raspberry flavour. Also tried death by chocolate, double Jersey, thunder and lightning and blackcurrant (close second best for me).
Fudge was nice and very well priced ... salted caramel was yum.
What really made this place were the lovely lady and gentleman owners. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
We did not manage to get a purchase as we walked into the store and the reception was rather alarming. We asked for the vegan options and got a rather abrupt response so left. Not entirely sure whether was a freak occurrence but it felt rather discriminating - would not recommend as it was not really a friendly shop.
Loved it!! Had ‘Death by Chocolate’ and ‘Thunder & Lightning’. They were both delish. Wish I could have some more but it was cold day. Will surely go back to this shop whenever I am back in the lakes.

Popped in here for some gifts and some fudge. The fudge was nice but not as creamy as I was hoping for. Good choice of flavours though. Ice-cream was fab!
Lovely ice cream shop. They had a wide range of flavours and were very accommodating to my daughters allergies. Many ice cream places struggle with ensuring that their products have not be contaminated with nuts and other allergens, however the owner informed us that all ice creams were nut free and was very helpful with our other allergies, using a separate scoop for our daughter’s order. Very wide range of cones and ice creams to choose from and the ice cream was the best we have tasted in the lakes. There was also many different flavours of fudge and other products on display for anyone with an extra sweet tooth. This place is a must visit for anyone visiting the Lake District.
