Have not eat here in over a year, has changed owners since last time here. Still great food and service is the best. Was leaving and I mentioned that I missed the peach cobbler and the waitress said she made some earlier, she went to the kitchen and came back with a large to go box of great peach cobbler. Service with great staff makes this a hit and the food is as good as you can expect. Will be back....
The salad bar has no meat at all or croutons. No bacon bits? I'm not sure this place deserves to be in the south... The steak was really fatty but seasoned well. Cheap cut of beef... the shrimp wasn't seasoned at all... On a plus side the sweet tea was good. As for cleanliness, this place has never heard of it... the walls are absolutely disgusting! From the looks of it, they have never been cleaned... I didn't see a clean wall anywhere. The floor wasn't much better... At least they wiped down the table... this was my first visit and most likely my last unless they get a cleaning crew! If you have a strong immune system and aren't afraid of touching nasty walls, then pay them a visit and chow down on a big serving of mediocre food!
Don't let the nondescript sign stop you. The steaks were amazing, fresh and well seasoned.
They allowed us to reserve tables for a birthday party and let us come an hour early to get ready. The tables were already prepared and had tablecloths on them, which was a nice touch! The employees were very kind and attentive. When we had more people arrive than we had planned for, they accommodated and didn't complain one bit. The buffet food was very hot and delicious. I would definitely host an event here anytime!
This place was amazing!!! And the staff is wonderful, our waitress Wanda was the best we have ever had, we are making this our new Saturday night family dinner spot!
Food was good but the place is nasty. Carpet is disgusting, a/c vents have about an inch of crud on them. Walls need painting, chairs and booths need attention.
We waited 35 minutes for food. From what we were told, this place was a buffet and having issues with table service. I understand that but clean the place up.
Absolutely horrible. Drove over an hour on Sunday for lunch. At 1:00 they were out of dessert, the salad had brown leaves. (They close at 2:30). Could not order from the menu..only had the buffet. When we left at 1:15 2 pieces of baked chicken, 6 pieces of fried and they just sat a table of 11 down!! Where did Mr Eddie go?!?!?
Absolutely horrible food...horrible! When I ask when more food was coming out..all I was told they've cooked all morning and it has ran out....well....close the place up!!!!!...it's a buffet!!!

I tasted my mother's fresh fried corn, her beef tips and rice and tears fell down my face...my mother passed away in 2016 ..I NEVER expected to taste her cooking again..
Thank you to THE OAKS RESTAURANT..I don't know who the cook is but you and my mother must be kin..
The staff here was also very friendly making me feel right at home .
