The tea is so amazing here! Especially the premium milk tea, and boba. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially if you know little to nothing about tea. (Especially Ivan in the downtown location.) I highly reccomend them to everyone!
Came here during a short layover. 5 minute walk from the airport, great London Fog lattes, collection of board and card games, fast Wi-Fi, reasonable prices -- a solidly good place to relax.

I went here for the first time the other day. It is such a good vibe in there. They have a chill atmosphere. It's filled with indoor plants and the lighting is low. The seating was comfortable and the people hanging out in there were so friendly. This place made me really appreciate living in Juneau.
Great experience, great decor & ambiance and, most importantly, great tea. I'd have enjoyed it regardless because the reception my grand-daughter got in her princess costume was priceless. You could bring a younger along, or rely on finding a serene space to escape yours for a while ????
Seriously, this is a cozy, smallish place that's big on atmosphere. Being able to choose your own tea, milk/alternative & sweetener is really great, but even better: choosing your teapots & cups from shelves full of them! And the decor, including several raven paintings I wanted to bring home with us, adds to The Northern being a place I want to visit every time I get up to Juneau. ????
Not what I was expecting in a Tea house, but regardless the tea was great quality and the staff, particularly Stacia was super friendly & helpful. Affordable tea prices for loose leave tea. I plan on buying and taking way to much home as a wonderful souvenir. Would definitely come back!
Always friendly staff ive never had an unpleasant encounter there. A wide variety of different teas, black, green, etc. Lists of all varieties. And tea pots and cups for purchase (perfect for holiday gifts we're planning for family????) parking could be better but at least there's some available..
Amazing! Great place to relax and grab a cup of tea. They have a wide selection of delicious teas (hot, cold, boba, chai, matcha, etc.) for every mood and occasion. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
