Best KPortal Reviews

It’s a vibe , but I made the wrong decision by getting the totchos… it was not my jam.
The Bloody Mary was beautiful but meant for 1 to share. I would have passed out trying to drink the entire cup of vodka!
The location is beautiful and the server was nice.
So Disappointed! My brother and I finally got a chance to get to the Nook on Piedmont. Saw one of those places to eat in Atlanta shows one morning a while back. We finally got to order the Totchos. We ordered two Buffalo Totchos. Drove 20 minutes home.... and was surprisingly disappointed. Wow! That was bad! The chicken was juicy, but bland. You can see the reddish seasonings. It wasn't salt. I can say the tater tots were fried to perfection. The blue cheese crumbles, buffalo sauce, and ranch couldn't help it out on taste. Not enough chicken to call them "Chicken " totchos. We had totchos for sure. This was the first Miss we had to where we wanted to throw away $43 worth of food ($34.32 plus $8.60 tip). The ambiance was great even on a rainy day like today. That was not good. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but I hate wasting money on bad food. The online reviews had my expectation on the moon. My food brought me back down to Peachtree Street. We trashed it all. The tots were the only thing palatable out of this meal. Just our foodie experience gone wrong.
Man this place is incredible! The staff is so inviting. My waiter, Riley, is freaking awesome. Reminds me of a friend from my hometown in Oklahoma. If you are looking for a restaurant with great food and a hometown vibe in the middle of downtown Atlanta, then look no further. The smoked wings appetizer fall of the bone, the nachos tochas should be illegal, and the Philly cheesesteak is out of control. Love this place
I enjoyed the retro feel of the decor (think 80s steakhouse) and the various seating options: enclosed patio, outdoor, dining room, bar. Good drink menu, wide assortment of entrees, and great service. I'd be willing to return and try more things.
Had a great night planned with karaoke night. The DJ was great! Had our first round, all things were seemingly going smooth…
Then our server left for about 30 minutes, left our drinks at the bar, and never checked in on us again. The manager had to come over, told us “that’s my best server” and gave us the check with no explanation other than a laugh and a bill with nothing comped. I was planning on getting 3-4 rounds, but left with barely a buzz from the 2 drinks almost an hour apart.
Looking at it more, as we left I noticed the server was sectioned in both the indoors and outdoor part of the restaurant. I’ll put a good bit of the blame on the server for forgetting, but management needs to either A.) Staff more people, or B.) put the servers section in the same general areas so they don’t have to run back and forth with tables between multiple areas.
Generally I love coming to the nook and sitting at the bar, but I don’t think I’ll be dining in anytime soon.
The food is definitely subpar. I ordered the hash and it had 3 tiny over cooked pieces of sausage and no cheese sauce and cold. The managers response was underwhelming and patronizing. My friend ordered loaded tater tots, but lacked jalapeños. When requested they added a cost. The menu advertised $3 mimosas on Sundays which we ordered and our server did not state to us that that was not the price on festival weekends. I live only blocks away from here and do not recommend this establishment. If the management spent more time improving their food, service and accountability; this place might be worth trying again.
This place drew me in for their 32oz Bloody Mary I read about online! The staff was super friendly and the food was impressive. The Mac n cheese was literal heaven! I loved every bite!!! We really enjoyed the Coca-Cola bbq sauce- if they sold it I would have purchased a bottle or two!
The food was bland. The wings weren't seasoned before they were cooked. It was very much "from the bag and to the grill." Even the sauce was bland...Oh and too many children for my taste. You can keep it!
