Best KPortal Reviews

Great little drink only local inn with large selection of well-kept, very well-priced Timothy Taylor casks. Lovely friendly staff and locals. Well worth a visit.
First visit to this pub. It was full of locals who made us feel very welcome. Visited with my hubby and children. No food regularly at present but after talking to the landlady, sarah, she explained this was something they were hoping to do failry soon. She had only been the landlady since August.
Great day spent here, very busy day with Blue Star Tattoo playing, the weather helped, it was glorious and if you're coming from Skipton, the train is so easy.
Nice village pub sells Timothy Taylor's beers. The food is exalent and not overpriced. Few benches outside of the front door all round good pub.
We were staying in a lovely B&B, the Throstles Nest Farm. The New Inn had been recommended as a good place to eat. We went on our first evening, intending to go into Skipton the following evening. The New Inn was so good we changed our plans and went there again the second night.
A good selection of well kept real ales was available but the clincher was the food, it was excellent. Good chunky hand cut chips that had been fried in beef dripping and pie of the day which was a real man size pie. We had steak, mushroom and red wine along with a nice dish of fresh mixed veg and a sauce boat of the lovely gravy that was in the pie. The portion was so big you could share one between two. We had.missed.out on the pie the first night so had very nice liver and bacon.
A really good atmosphere and a.lovely landlady who would call a taxi for you when eventually ready to leave. A great local pub in the beautiful village of Cononley a few miles outside Skipton.
Called in on Monday with my two Pals for lunch, Pie and peas!! Lovely new landlady!
First visit with a new owner, excellent choice of Timothy Taylor beers, only had one but tasted good, will go back to check again.
Proper pub
Good atmosphere
Good selection of quality beers.
