I ordered scrambled eggs and beef this is what I got. Not sure what it was to be honest. More like vomit. Fortunately it didn’t taste like vomit.
We went in without any expectation and were genuinely surprised by its amount and quality. I asked for spicy sauce and the owner gave us a bowl full of it. The meal was totally worth the price and the wait. My friends and I had a great time and we left satisfied.
Firstly had no squid which the server was not made aware of until they ran out after me. Then the house special fried rice had no meat or veg mixed in- other than what looked like a few bits of wafer thin ham. Only saving grace was pancake roll was good but smaller than last time (approx 4 years ago). Was over priced also
The sweet & sour chicken was, as expected, another huge dub from TNG.
Bizarre place -- almost empty and has no signage up. I only found out the restaurant name by looking for the spot on Google maps. Food is a typical portion size and blandness for Exeter, but slightly cheaper than other places, which is great
Went to try the hot pot with my fiancee. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Lots of interesting toppings to choose from. I couldnt identify most of it which was really cool. I highly recommend the hot pot and for toppings I loved the fish balls, beef balls, tofu skin and tofu knots. Don't be scared, go in and have a go, you will love it!
Chicken and pineapple, really easy it was bland ,not enough sauce and the rice needed seasoning ,I eventually added my own soy sauce, best part of _12 not impressed
Cooking time is quite a while but it's worthy! The quality is even better than most of the restaurants in Hong Kong because of the rice noodles in wide strips. The soup going with the noodles is good and the beef tendon is very tender and tasty. Priced £6 seems a bit expensive but the proportion is very large for one person. The shop keeper is always nice.
