I will never revisit this nail salon again. I left with painful nails due to the lady filing down my natural nail too much. Even if I told her I have sensitive nails. If I could give a negative star I would.
I came in asking for a nail dip, I was told gel based nails were better. Had a hard time understanding the tech too.
Then I asked for a specific natural looking color before we started but at the end was given a close enough color due to it being discontinued.
However, upon reexamining my nails when I got in the car all of them we're unevenly made. I couldn't stay any longer due to other commitments for the day.
This was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten, my nails are all filed wrong, totally different lengths. The lady pulled my pinky toe out so far, it hurt so bad and the next day it was bruised.
They were cooking something in the back that smelled disgusting, it was wafting through the entire salon, I wanted to barf.
I would never go back and suggest no one else does either. Worst experience ever....
I love this place! I have had to use other nail spas due to moving around and am ALWAYS happy to come back here! They take such care and do such a great job and really take their time to clean up your cuticles, they do 3 coats of gel and 2 coats of top coat each time! Everyone is so friendly and give great suggestions! I have used several nail specialists including Hanna who I just love!
I have been getting my acrylic nails since I was 14 and I found this place 2 years ago and I will never go anywhere else. Everyone is amazing and Lein makes everyone feel welcome. I would definitely recommend the nail center for everyone. My mom and I come here every two weeks and she won’t go anywhere else either.
I have been coming to the Nail Center for 4 years now! Lien the owner has always been good to me. They take the time to get the know your and what you like. I get the bio gel on my nails, and they always look great! I get many compliments on them! On the rare occasion when my nail chips or starts peeling off they always fix them for me with no charge! Highly recommend!
I really hate leaving reviews likes this, especially for businesses with really nice workers, but Im really upset with how my nails turned out. I thought I should try a new salon and ended up paying more than I usually ever do for nails ($80) and with only a small design and one color. I had 2 broken nails which were replaced and have both fallen off within 5 days of getting my nails done (my nails usually last about 3 weeks) they were very curled and I would have gotten them replaced at my next appointment at a different place anyway. I’ve gone back 3 times already and I unfortunately don’t have the time to go back a 4th time to get the nail that fell off yesterday replaced. My entire fill I was in so much pain, they were very rough with my nails, but did at least try to make it better, either way, nobody should be in pain from getting an acrylic fill. My top coat has already chipped off and my nails are very uneven. I can’t wait until I need another fill and can try somewhere new. It’s unfortunate because the workers are very nice.
Good prices, always busy but they still accept walk-ins with a short wait time, if any at all. Angie did my nails last time and now she is my favorite one there for acrylics and gels. She does amazing nail designs and is willing to try any design you show her. I requested a really complicated design with multiple colors, showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she made a few suggestions that she thought would look better and my nails came out great. She made sure I was happy and comfortable every step of the way and had no problem making any changes I requested. I plan on going back to her every time in the future. I also took my grandma and aunt in at the same time for acrylic gels and we were all worked on right away and at the same time even though they were busy and we were walk-ins. And their nails came out great as well, so everyone there is highly qualified and does really good work. This place is by far my favorite nail salon in Simi, and is the only place I will go to get them done. I've had pedicures there in the past too and have always been happy with the quality of work done.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very reasonable pricing and super convenient hours! I can drop by after I get off work which is so awesome! I work with my hands and am brutal on acrylics, but these are always done so well I never worry about a broken nail! Definitely recommend for any nail service!
