First time customer. Thursday, mid-morning. This restaurant had a good vibe for me, and I felt very relaxed and comfortable as soon as I walked in. The restaurant was clean and quiet and relaxed, just the way I like it.
I ordered the eggs Benedict with side of sliced tomatoes (I was also offered potatoes or oatmeal), and orange juice.
The food was great! The Hollandaise was very light and smooth and well flavored. The offer of tomatoes on the side was nice, as the usual side of starch makes the dish too heavy for me. Plus the tomatoes pair well with the Hollandaise.
The orange juice was fresh squeezed, which is great. However, it was also room temperature. That is slightly worrisome as orange juice can spoil if left out for even just a couple of hours, and I didn't think to ask if they make it by the glass as it's ordered or if they squeeze it in bulk to last through the morning. I'll check on that next time.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I definitely recommend!
Very yummy breakfast! Definitely have a muffin from here, warm, fresh and delicious! The steak and eggs were great, service was good. Would recommend this place for a nice breakfast!
I was out running errands in this area and got really hungry. I decided to give this restaurant a try.
I was greeted upon entering and offered a menu.
Coffee was given promptly.
It was my first time and I was offered help If I would’ve needed it.
I ordered the Country Morning Skillet. It was delicious. It had all the things I love: eggs, mushrooms, home fries, sausage, onions, and a lovely sausage gravy, The portion was large.
I enjoyed my visit and will be back.
Fantastic breakfast hole-in-wall family kind of place. Came during the week and enjoyed a pleasing warm breakfast. A few locals were there.. Ate the Nutella French Toast off the board specials and skillet was delish as well. Got two muffins, blueberries and double chocolate. Fluffy, filled and not to sweet. Enjoy.
I was happy with the experience at The Muffin Tin, but I had a couple reservations. In my tasty Skillet Scramble (Italian, I think), the base of the dish is the potatoes and they were tasteless. Everything else in dish was great, though, especially the eggs. I also thought the coffee quality was too low to be $2.25.
I'll come back and try something different and grab coffee elsewhere.
Food was average but good. Service was great.
Nothing spectacular. Their cool thing is cutting a muffin in half, spreading butter on it and laying the cut side down on the grill. Server was nice. Bathrooms are frankly nasty and in major need on an overhaul.
Classic diner vibe . The food was all right. Order their muffin is a must! Our server was very friendly .
