I have been trying to get a appointment now for 2 weeks and this system is unacceptable. I work in the NHS and I understand the pressure but to wait on the phone for 1 hour and 24 minutes is ridiculous... The new management has made getting a appointment impossible... at the moment I am struggling with pain in my hands which is starting to affect my job and with severe hayfever symptoms with my eyes.. It is not acceptable for me to go to A&E but at this rate if I don't get a appointment tomorrow I might have to....
Not the type to write reviews but I am absolutely disgusted with the women on reception, I’ve always had good experiences and the way I’ve just been spoken to on the phone is disgusting, been waiting since 8am, get a call back at 10:20 disregarding me making me out to be a liar about my symptoms regarding a pregnancy concern. Full on trying to argue with me. Told me there’s nothing they can do. Previously they have gone above and beyond.
I’m absolutely baffled.
The new system is unacceptable. Needed to query missing item in prescription. Made 2 calls, 1st time almost an hour, had to hang up as grandson was coming out of school. Tried again at home at 3.45, on hold for 52 mins then call got ended by surgery. What on earth is a person to do when the missing meds are important????? Absolutely shocking surgery now it's been taken over.
Once again trying to get through to prescription query number, told to ring between 12-4.30 rang 5 times already and each time told line is closed. Absolute joke since practice was rebranded. Reporting them to healthcare ombudsman
After trying for months to make an appointment to see a doctor by phone as I work and cannot get to the surgery within theie working hours I finally made one on my day off face to face and thought great. After talking to the doctor I had to go for blood test then had to wait another 2 weeks to see the doctor again to find out that they hadn't done a complete test the doctor requested so had to wait another 2 weeks for another blood test. After a week passed after my blood test I tried to make an appointment to see the doctor to talk about results and get more help and advice as requested i do by the doctor I get told by the receptionist that I cannot make an appointment in advance I have to go in every day to see if a doctor is available which for me is impossible as I work in a care home and cannot get there to make an appointment every day. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone in the are.
Rang multiple times to get an appointment stressing to them my mental health is in a bad place after the doctor abruptly stopped my anxiety medication. They kept telling me to try again tomorrow… to someone who’s clearly struggling. Disgusting. If you’re really struggling with mental health stuff and they won’t give you an appointment call the nhs 111 number and select option 2 they’ll help you.
Devastating events had us calling New inn surgery for help in December last year. The receptionist there was fantastic & so was the doctor on several occasions during follow ups .
This place needs investigating ASAP. My partner who's a nurse as been very badly treated by this practise , misdiagnosed for the past 8 weeks having to do her own blood tests in her works , to then be told today that she has to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor to get the drugs to correct her bloods . Disgusting treatment against one of there own. When you got obviously under trained receptionist and poor doctors what you expect . Will be taking this all the way .
Terrible staff very rude and unhelpful, the receptionist talks openly about others problems. And the doctors can't be bothered. Can't even get a prescription in time v
